Payne looked over at Raymond, ''It seems she has more of a liking to you now than him.'' She softly muttered, thinking about what had happened.

Raymond nodded. "That's the reason why--Azazela likes her rebels." He shivered, wincing at the thought.

Sol held up two fingers. "I saw several things, but I shall only repeat two. One, i now know who has been possessing Julian at frequent intervals and Two, I have an inkling of how to protect her from said fits." He said calmly.

Payne shook her head, ''Well, I have a feeling you won't be on her good list for a little while, and at that....I definately won't be on her good side, probably not ever. After what happened between...well, us...she won't be too happy. She knew about that..'' She said, blushing after saying us.

Raymond looked at her, leaning back against the chair. "Go on..." He prompted. "What did happen between you two?"

''Ah, I see.'' Yukio sighed. ''So, um...what are we gonna do now? We're the only two left here...'' His voice trailed off.

Payne bit her lip. ''I knew I was gonna end up saying something before you finished. Oh well,'' She sighed. ''Well, I never got to tell you why I ended up well, you know. Its so stupid, and you might hate for doing it but I was so caught up in the moment, my mind was blurry. Those two popped up as I was sitting on the steps in the hallway, and well...she made me...well..'' She tried to find a way to explain it. ''She said, that if I didn't do that...then, she would take you. I didn't know enough about her to realise anything, but she really seemed like she would take me from you, and I...I really didn't want that. She had really confused and scared. I didn't want to risk losing you...I know it seems like a really stupid reason, but I did it only because of you....you probably hate me now.'' She said, turning away and started to go back to the couch.

Raymond stood, wrapping his black-clad arms around Payne and burying his face in her hair. "I'd never hate you, darling...it melts my heart to know that you'd do this for me..." He murmered.

Sol sighed, running a hand through his thick head of dark hair. "Well, that won't be so for long, because Julian's bound to wake up soon...so why don't we just relax?"

Yukio smiled, ''Alright...I need to relax a little, actually..if you don't mind..I am getting a book from the shelf real quick.'' He said and walked to the shelf, picking up a black, hard cover book. It had a circle with tiny inscriptions on it in a foreign language. He picked up a pen and opened to a blank page and started to scratch words down in a diary form.

Payne half-smiled at this. ''I....I didn't know what you would think, I-I really am glad you don't feel so negative about it.'' She said, a small sigh coming from her lips as she pecked him lightly on the lips for comfort on herself, she needed something like that to keep her happy at the moment, she was confused and stuck in a maze of cofusion because of her love, only something she could find her way through in her heart.

Sol nodded, stetching his long legs. "Mmm...I didn't say anything earlier, but you have a swell house." He complimented vaguely.

Raymond stepped back from her, clasping his hands behind his back. "Well, darling...aside from that, I am willing to be you;re hungry...thirsty?"

Yukio didn't look up from his writing. ''Thankyou, I spent quite a bit on this home of mine, why did you think I wanted those slayers out?'' He replied, writing continuously.

Payne smiled, ''Well, after finally getting a bit of rest..I feel much better and I realised that I haven't eaten in days.'' She said, looking down at her body, she was pencil thin and a size zero in clothes, she rarely ate. ''And...um, I wanted to say something. There is this new cafe` in town and its also a jazz club...and I wanted to know if you liked jazz at all, its a really nice place andI work there when they call at times...I play music there, its more of a hobby to me.'' She said and let go of her grasp around Raymonds waist a bit, her arms were very loose around his waist.
