Raymond was still asleep, his head resting again his chest at an angle that allowed his shaggy black hair to fall in front of his closed eyes. He stirred slightly upon hearing Payne's voice but did not awaken.

Atropos shrugged, chewing on fries now. "Hmm...because McCauley knows too much. I like to withhold information from her--that way I actually know something she doesn't and can see her frustrated for once." She muttered,her mouth full of half-shewed food.

Payne looked over to Raymond, his angel-like face hiding by a curtain of silky dark hair. She sighed and smiled lightly, looknig at him sleeping. Then she layed back down and closed her eyes, starting to fall asleep once again.

Atropos grunted, smiling. "Not particularly. It's just she deserves it, the pompous bawd." She grumbled, wiping her mouth clean of ketchup.

Yukio sighed, ''Ah, I see.'' He said, and at that was quiet until either she wanted to say something of finished eating.

Payne kept her eyes open, listening to Raymond before falling asleep. She sounded a bit worried, but she wanted to hear what he was going to say so she sat up on the edge of the couch and pushed her knees to her chest, listening to his voice for a second, seeing if he would say more. She layed her head down on her knees and looked at him, smiling sweetly as she watched him sleep. He
s so cute when he's asleep I have to admit. She thought to herself staring at his amazing features.

Atropos swallowed her last fry and brushed crumbs from her shirt front. "Well, I guess I'll be leaving now."

Yukio tried to hide a small smile. ''Alright then...Will everything be alright once you change back to Julian?'' He quickly asked before she left.

Payne slowly and painfully got up and went over to Raymond. She put a hand on his shoulders and shook him lightly. ''Raymond, wake up..its me, its all just a dream Raymond.'' She said and brushed a lock of hair from his face, it looked distorted, like he was having a nightmare.

Raymond's eyelids flew open, and his dazzling silver eyes looked hard at Payne before the memory of the dream faded. "Mmm...feeling better, darling?" He asked.

Payne smiled warmly, the way that would make anyone fall in love and forgive her for anything, the loving smile. ''I'm fine...but are you alright?'' He asked her, a warm, loving look on her face.

Raymond smiled back at her, and felt a warming sensation in his chest...most likely my heart melting, he reasoned. "I'm fine...just a few bad memories sneaking up on me." He replied, in his general care-free, breezy way.

Atropos shook her head. "When I leave, she'll be uncouncious for 30 minutes, at most. Nothing to worry about. May I ask why you care?"

Payne smiled, her hand drew around Raymonds jaw up to his ear and she held it there then looked at his eyes, shaking her head lightly to move a piece of hair of her face. ''Do you want to tell me anything? I can hear about anything thats on your mind, just trust me with your words.'' She said softly, her breath touching his neck.

Raymond sighed. "I guess it's mostly about another guardian--Corey McCauley, Julian's little brother. We're good friends, you see, and...well, Lucifer has this daughter named Azazela...I don't know if you know her..." He trailed off, chewing on his lip.

Atropos shrugged. "Relax, mortal. It's only for a half-hour."
And, then, she promptly fainted.

Payne looked away from Raymond quickly, hiding an almost furious expression, then she remembered..she hadn't explained what had happened out in the hallway when he was in the other room. ''Yes, I do know her....and I would like to explain to you something in a bit, thats why I wanted to you to stay by me, I felt I needed something to say to you, after all of this...all I've put you through and all I've done.'' She said, biting her lip, trying to push back cold tears in her eyes. She wanted so bad to let everything out and let her life go...so much emotion built up inside of her and so much to say and do. But she managed to hold back the tears for a moment or so only letting a few slip down her cheeks, then she turned back to Raymond to let him continue his talking.

Yukio sighed, ''Well...that was an interesting conversation, and what have you been doing this whole time?'' He asked looking over to the silent Sol, he was quiet for so long just sitting there that he had forgotten about him completely.
((to be honest...I was wondering what was going on with him this whole time..lol. And I really feel the way that Payne does...so you can see, when I write I put my real emotions into it...I feel like I'm gonna cry..but there is a reas on to it..when I write I listen to classical music, yes I am that type..and when I listen to music it puts me in a certain mood..and I have a song that makes me cry everytime I hear it...I've been listening to it for hours..and when I read as well, a song gets stuck in my head that matches what is happening...so I think of music in my mind when I read so I take things differently depending on the music, always violin of mostly...my favorite piano..<33))

Raymond sensed her unhappiness, and gave Payne a concerned look. "Payne...what's wrong? Didn't you say you were fine?" He asked, worried.

Payne gulped and sighed deeply, ''No..I'm okay really. Continue what you were saying, I'll explain some things to you later..just not right now.'' She said, then tried to smile. The smile looked a bit fake, although perfect, it was her trying to be happy on the outside, but deep down, she choked with tears.

Raymond took a deep breath. "Well...you see, Corey is young, and Azazela has taken a great favor to him. Not the best thing in the world, you see. I...I've tried to...you know, stop her, and I've come out the worse for wear."
