Dimitri walked up to his large mansion. It was set into the woods and no other house was around for a few miles. He held onto Thea's hand and had his cape wrapped around her now.

Thea blushed for the fith time in so many minutes. She breathed in the scent of pine as if it were a sweet perfume."So? What do you do for a living?"

He shrugged. ''Odd jobs, not much to say really.'' He walked them upto the house and unlocked the door with a set of brand new looking keys. He flicked on a light making a chandelier light up over head. He shut the door behind them and let go of her hand setting his cape down on a ench. ''Here we are..''He sighed.

He smiled. ''This is just the front hall.'' He said. ''Well, how about that coffee, come with me.''He said turning towards a huge hallway full of doors. He opened a door up and turned on a light. He held out his arms ushering her into the vast kitchen.

Thea entered the giant kitchen, smiling like a fool--she'd never seen such fine furniture. the rumbling of her stomach woke her from her daze. Not only was she thirsty, she was hungry. Thea looked down critically at her belly.
"So, is it just you here, or what? Am I asking too many questions?"

He smiled shaking his head. ''No, its right of you to want to know these things Dea'. I live alone here, gets very lonely.''He said standing behind her. He heard her stomach. ''Would you like something to eat Darling?" He said cocking a brow.

"Oh, yes, please." Thea smiled and sat down gingerly on a chair."Do you have any Fig Newtons? Or possibly..."Thea licked her lips."Some olives? Either kind--black or green with little pimentoes..." Thea smiled, wondering how weird he thought her for asking for such odd foods.

Dimitri smiled. ''Of course M'lady'' He rummeged in a fridge and grabbed something from a cup-board. He sat down two jars of different olives, some fignewtons. Plus a wine bottle of red liquid. He poured himself a glass into a wine glass. It was a thick liquid with a deep red hue. He put the glass to is lips drinking in deeply.

Thea launched on the snacks, ripping off the lids with the ferocity of an animal. After she'd devoured the first jar, she realized that she had company and so ate the second, the black ones, one by one.
Thea swallowed."What vintage is that? My father is a wine collecter, when he finds the time...and that wine looks particularly good."

Thea popped an olive into her mouth and nodded. She leaned back against her chair.
"You're French, aren't you? I can tell--the way you pronunce 'dear' and all this..."She gestured at the house around her."...Just screams 'I'm European'. I'm Irish, by the way."

Dimitri nodded. ''That I am, my name suggests it too. So... Dea' ''He siad with a smirk ''Coffee...Coke..Name your poison '' He said taking another sip out of his glass. He kicked back in his chair causing it to lean back in an odd way that looked impossible.

He nodded standing up. The chair thumped to the ground and the red liquid sloshed in the cup. "Not very sure. I do hve something to ask, or more or less tell you..''He said bringing back a hot cup of coffee wih him. He sat it down in front of her.
