Karsten turned slowly after giving a worried look to Oliver. ''Their fine Lily..really.'' he said closing his hands into fists to hide the blood still dripping from them. However it didnt help much and only made it hurt and drip more blood to the floor.

Lily clicked her tounge. "Now, now. I know when men are lying, Karsten, and you your hands are certainly not fine." She said, and when she had reached the two vampires, she took Karsten's hands in hers gently. This was, of course, nessercary for what she was about to do, but she flet that tingling in her stomach all the same.

Karsten pulled back as if her touch had caused him pain. ''Lily, Im ok. Really..see, Im smiling, Im cheerful..'' He said smiling and he tottered back and forth somewhat like a penguin.
A few Vampires nearby started to laugh. ''He's gone crazy...'' One said. ''Oh my, yes...Its that demon humans fault..'' The other said to the first one.
Karsten stopped smiling at this. ''What did you just call her?'' he growled approaching them with fire in his eyes.
They both stoppe dlaughing. ''Umm...N-n-nothing...P-p-p-prince..Ka-ka-karsten...'' They said stuttering like fools.

Lily's face redened, but she knew the vampires were right. It was her fault that Karsten was going loopy, and that his hands were hurt. At least the latter she could fix. She sighed again and grabbed Karsten's hand again, spinning him around to face her with remarkable strength for one so small.
"Forget them." She said. "This will only take a minute, so just stay calm." The earth child closed her eyes, tilting her head back slightly. Green sparks washed over Karsten's cuts, stitiching them together, without even leaving a mark afterwords. Lily then let go of him, taking several deep breaths.

Karsten nodde dto her. ''Thank you.'' He said ignoring the to plops he heard behind him. Both Vampire's had fell to the floor, fainted. ''Lets get you out of here.'' He said accepting what he must and put an arm around her and pushing through the wave of Vampire's in the hall.

Oliver, who had remained silent through the healing and all else, waved. Lily smiled at him, and the Prince found his heart-strings were being pulled: The girl looked so very much like Maya, it was disturbing.
Lily walked along with Karsten, ignoring the pain of his arm putting pressure on the cuts on her back.

Karsten grumbled to himself as he shoved countless Vampire's out of their path. They really had no sense when it came to a simple, excuse me. So he did it the hard way and just shoved them away. He slowed down and removed his arm from around Lily when they exited the hall. He sighed and rubbed his head. ''Now then, are you okay?'' He asked looking up.

((Hey, one of the tire on my R.V blew out, and so there's a good chance I'll have to miss my camping trip...not that I'll have anything to do, of course...))
Lily stiffled a relieved sigh when he removed his arm. She was surprised he hadn't felt the blood that had drenched the back of her white tank top...but then, he probably thought the blood was his. She didn't answer in words, just took off her ripped vest and showed him the 3 two-inch-or-so-long gashes on her smooth white back. "I doubt you can fix those, eh?" She said, grimacing.

((Well...I have so horrible newws...We had to cut our trip short because my uncle, who was sick, he died on saturday night...So, the funeral is tuesday day and night, then wednesday is burial...so i might not be on for a while except late at night like now, when My parents arent up....))
Karsten blinked and looked at them carefully. ''I can try..'' He said looking them over. He put some spit on his fingers and gently rubbed the wounds. The all healed quite nicely, leaving behind tiny scars. He wiped some of the access blood off and nodded. ''Good as new. Next time however, listen to me. You very well could have been killed, you got lucky walking away with scratches gashes and some bruises, I assume.'' He said furrowing his brow.

Lily's face redened. "On that subject," She smacked Karsten, hard, on the back of the head. "Do you want me to die in disgrace? I'm not a little girl, Karsten. I don't need you coming to my rescue."
She growled deep in her throat and her blonde hair fell in front of her face, curtaining it. "I could have died? Pah! Hardly," Then she added, in a more quiet voice, "though I don't see why you would care if I did..."

Karsten groaned and rubbed his head. He had been smacked so many times in the same spot he thought he might never get rid of the bump. He closed his eyes a mment then sighed.
''I would care Lily....because I have come to simply accept......you do know this is killing me right now? '' He said opening his eyes. ''ThatIloveyou.'' He said very quickly. He could just barely understand what he had said himself.

Karsten bit his lip. ''I...I said that.....I...love you.'' He said looking away from her and to the ground. I should have kept my mouth shut...you idiot Karsten....why must you say these kinds of things?! IDIOT! He yelled at himself in his head as he stared at the ground.

Lily bit her lip. Would she be able to love again? The earth child had kept herself from getting too attached to anyone after Annie's death: she didn't want the pain she suffered to come back again.
"K-Karsten...I...I..." She said, but found she was unable to say anything. So Lily stepped forward and touched his cheek with her fingertips.

Karsten looked up from the ground and met her gaze with fiery red eyes. He shouldnt had said anything.
''Im sorry Lily....I...I wasnt thinking...'' He said shaking his head. He felt idiotic and wished for nothing more than to be staked on the spot.
