((I think I messed up in my other post in WH...It's almost 3...I wonder if I really typed that... O-O And I forgot to type Julian's response! Sorry.))
Lily blushed. "Jacques Victors, I can do anything I set me mind too, an' you're na' one to stop me!" She said, clasping her little white hands in fists as her Irish accent thickened her voice.

Julian's smile grew. "I daresay Olie's already told you, but you need to follow you path...all the way, I mean. I know you were thinking of ababndoning it earlier, Prince." She said, and snidkered softly.

Jaqcues chuckled. ''Then I challenge you to a matych Lily. Pick your poison. Beams, ring, swords? What? '' He asked bouncing like Rocky.

Karsten raised an eyebrow. ''Yes, but I have let it take its course so far. Im not going to just go out and jump on her. Im doing it my way.'' He said un-crossing his arms.

Julian bobbed her head. "Well, I'm glad to hear it. Doubtless Lily's too honorable for that anyway. Oh...and I just thought I should tell you your little schnookums is about to get her ass kicked. She's really to prideful, you know? Jacques is far more powerful than her, but I doubt she knows--oh, good heavens, I'm babbling."

Lily grinned. "Beams. They look so...excuse my slang...cool." She said, and watched Jacques bounce about. A little voice that was possibly her conscience, whispered, Lily Elanor Ladanyi, you are going to fall and everyone will laugh...that is, if you don't die.

Jaqcues nodded. ''Good choice. I warn you, I just might do what I did to him to you. Im not holding back. Careful of the spikes.'' he said smirking. ''Pick your weapon and climb on up.'' he said bounding over and grabbing a spear-like weapon. It was made of wood and both tips had metal on them that was sharpened. He hoped up onto the beams with great ease and stood ready to beat Lily.

Karsten choked. ''Damnit those Victors. Excuse me.'' He said getting up and walking down the path between the many pew-like seats that stood in the hall. He crossed to the doors and pushed past a guard and went out into the halls.

Lily held up her hands,and thorns shot from her fingertips like natural knives. "Who needs weapons?" She said, and, still smiling, stepped gracefully onto the beams. The earth child took a deep breath and waited for Jacques to make the first move.

Julian waved. "Buh-bye." She said cheerily, then hopped off of Oliver's throne and went to go find the Prince himself.

Jaqcues raised an eyebrow. ''Fine then. Ready. GO!'' He yelled jumping on different beams and landing near Lily. He swung the spear he had at the front of her legs watching carefully from behind his black hair.
A small group had now formed around the beams. Word of a Human going up against a Dead Blood had spread quickly. A large betting pool had also started.
Karsten ran qucikly and skidded as he turned to go into the games hall. He stopped not ready fro the huge amount of Vampire's standing around the beams. ''Charna's guts..'' he said looking at them all. ''Okay..Okay out of my way people. Its your Prince, move!'' He said shoving them out of the way so he could get a better look.

Lily was ready for this, and her hands shot forward to land on Jacques' shoulders. The staff struck only air as she leapt forward and landed with flip on a beam a few feet from Jacques. The girl smiled and beckoned to him with a thorned finger.
Oliver walked into the hall, his blue-grey eyes wide. He watched Lily, atonished by her easy grace.

Jaqcues chuckled at her trick and flipped around himself using his arm to flip over on the beam. He furrowed his brow and leapt into the air and tucked into a ball at the last second faking an attack from the front. He swung under the beams then back faking an other attack then flipped back smacking Lily hard in the front of her legs with the spear as he crouched on the beams.
Karsten's mouth fell open. What the hell did they think they where doing? He blinked and looked up at the scene unfolding, to stunned to move.

Lily gasped and fell off of the beam. In the two seconds before she hit the spikes below, she held her hand up and let her powers flow. A vine shot out of her palm and wrapped itself around the beam jacques was standing on. Lily's back scraped the spikes, scrathing her pale flesh a bit. The earth child climbed up the vine in a flash and gave Jacques a painful but not too deep gouge in the back of the leg. Oliver paled as Lily fell. What if she hadn't caught herself? He'd feel really bad if Maya's daughter died when he could have done something about it. ((Grah...I have to thinking so hard when my charries are fighting...bleh. Sorry it's so slow.  )) |

Jaqcues hissed and lept to the side and touched the wound on his leg. He shook it off trying to ignore the pain. ''Oh its on.'' he said smirking at Lily. She couldnt keep this up long. He ran over the beams and hit at her again with the sharp end of his spear.
Karsten's eyes widened. Jaqcues was going straight at her. He leapt up onto the beams and jumped in front of Lily and grabbed the end of the spear slicing his hands. He winced and shoved back at the spear cutting his hands more. However he did manage to push the Dead Blood back making him fall to the beams.
''Thats enough. One of you are going to end up being killed.'' He said looking from Lily to Jaqcues. He sighed and looked at his bleeding hands. The second time that day that he had hurt his hands. He shook his head and looked at alot of the shocked faces from his actions.

In the crowd, Oliver stared at Karsten, not as agahst as the other Vampires but certainly taken by surprise.
Lily sighed and rested her forehead on the wooden beam. "Karsten..." She growled, but found she didn't know what to say.

Karsten stood his ground and his piercing red eyes starred right into Jaqcues. ''Idiot. You shouldnt have brought her on the beams, let alone fight her.'' he said glarring at the young boy.
Jaqcues bowed his head. He couldnt stick up fro himself this time. The Prince was right.
''Ok. Off the beams. Both of you.'' He said hodling his hands away from himself so he didnt get blood all over himself. It dripped down onto the wooden stakes below them.

Lily grimaced, silently fuming, but climed agily back on to the beams. With her hands balled into fists and her head held high, she lept off of and turned around to glower heatedly at Karsten.
Oliver sighed. Lily was going to be steamed for weeks, if his experiences with Maya meant anything.

Karsten turned from her, not able to meet her eyes. He glarred at Jaqcues. ''Now.'' He hissed. The boy stood shakily and jumped freom the beams throwing his spear to a nearby Vampire. He walked off leaving the crowd to stand in silent shock.
Karsten sighed and jumped down himself. The gouges in his hands where far to big to use his spit on, he would have to bandage them then. He looked up at Oliver who he had jumped down near. '' Why must she do this to me..'' He said shaking his head. ''Im going to go insane. It hasnt even been a damn day!'' He said.

Lily winced, biting her lip. "Karsten." She said, her voice soft now as she walked towards him. "Let me see your hands please."
Oliver had time to say, "Such is life. I'm certain you can find a way through it." Before the girl was in hearing range and he had to shut is mouth.
