Karsten smiled. ''Possibly.'' He said looking up at her. He had accepted the path chosen for him now, but how far he traveled on it was uncertain. ''Perhaps, we should go somewhere else.'' He said standing up and towering over the girl.

Lily shook her head. "To tell the truth, I prefer here. It's much more private than anywhere else in the mountain...and all of my friends are here." She turned to look back at the army of flowers, smiling with a warmth she showed to no other person or thing, save the earth itself.

Karsten chuckled. ''No, I meant somewhere else in the garden. Anywhere else we wont have more than five minutes of peace.'' He said dusting off his hands.

Lily blushed, and turned her face in the oppisite direction to hide it. Of course he meant to stay in the garden... why in heaven's name didn't she know that?
"Sure," She said, and once she had her expression under control, the earth child turned to face the Prince. "What more is there to do, anyway?"

Karsten shrugged. ''Well...In the garden, not much to the average person I guess. I just sdit and watch the flowers and falls. The rest of the mountain has a few random things to do, but I dont think thats what you meant, or was it?'' He asked walking to lead them down a path close to the water fall.

Karsten chuckled. ''Yes, we have a games hall. The games however arent your normal games. We have sword fighting, beams, wrestling even. You name a...I suppose, sport, like that, we do it. We just call them games because to us, they are.'' He said putting a hand into one of his pocktes.

Lily's bottle-green eyes twinkled. "Ah...and would I be allowed to compete in these "games"?" She asked, and looked around at the large number of beautiful flowers and other plants. They filled to garden with a very delightful smell, which was heady enough to make the earth child a bit woozy.

Karsten thought a moment bitting his lip. ''Well...I guess if you think you could....but dont do it if your going up against someone three times as big as you. Possibly some of our Vampresses can go up against you.'' He said putting a hand on his neck. His eyes where locked onto a very large looking flower at the far end of the path. His favorite flower of them all. The Blood Rose.

Lily stopped to look at the beautiful, large rose, spell-bound by it's loveliness for a few short seconds. Then she turned and raised one eyebrow at Karsten, her lips pursed. "Hmph. If you think I'd be endangering myself by doing uch a thing, then you obviously have know idead what I can do." She said,smirking a bit.

Karsten folded his arms. ''Oh really?'' He said raising an eyebrow. ''I guess that I shall find out.'' He said lowering the brow, yet his face didnt seem to change at all.

Lily returned his look, nodding. "Yes. Since I'm to be staying here, there is a good chance you will find out soon." She said, and began to walk again, her hands still clasped over the small of her back.

Karsten nodded. ''And, I figure the brothers are stayuing for the festival, so Ill find out then. I might have to have you test your skills on me.'' He said walking past his prized rose.

Lily turned her face away as she felt herself blushing again, for no logical reason. "Hmm...well, I must warn you, I've had little experience with my powers." She said, walking casually at his side when she'd gotten her pallor back to normal.
