Thea nodded, stiffly taking Maryjane by the shoulders and retreating from the gardens.
Lily had gone from swearing to pacing, her expression that of pure anger. "I cannnot believe this? What the hell is wrong with me if I have dreams of myself being with that...that creature!

Dimitri sighed and nodded for Silas to go. Silas followed after Thea and Maryjane turning into a wolf to trot behind them.
Dimitri sighed. ''Lily, you have to undersatnd that he isnt a creature. He is simply....sensitive. I guess you could say he uses his anger as a way to block his real emotions from the world. He just...has a hard time opening up.'' He said thinking hard. ''At times he is very....frustrating...I admit it. But he can be quite the friend at other times, and he cares very much for the well being of his people, although he might not go about things the right way sometimes.'' He said rubbing his head.

Maryjane had removed her hands from her ears, put her face was still deathlly pale, as was Thea's. The got to the little girl's room, where Maryjane collapsed on the bed, a numb expression on her face. Thea sighed and sat down next to her, her hand on the girl's shoulder.

Lily bit her lip as her pacing slowed. FInally it stopped altogether. "So what do you think I should do?" She asked quietly, running a finger over to black rose entwined around her white neck.

Silas padded into the room behind Thea. His black tail was limp and his ears were low to his head as he layed on the rock ground.

Dimitri sighed. ''I think you should follow the path chosen for you. But in the end, its your heart you should follow. No one elses.'' The Vampire said rubbing his head.

"Have I made it worse?" Maryjane asked solemnly.
Thea, unable to answer her, bowed her head and sighed.

Lily turned away from him to stroke the stem of a beautiful amber-colored flower. The plant grabbed green tendrils around her index finger, as if giving it a hug.
"Well, there's only been one time in my life when I disregarded your advice, Dimitri, and Iregreted doing so. Perhaps I can find the strength in me to tame this vampire, this...Karsten." She whispered the last word, her voice soft and liquid.

Silas gave a sigh too. His tail flopped and landed over one of his out-stretched legs.

Dimitri nodded. ''Well, just remember to have patience with him. '' He said before placing a hand on her shoulder then nodding and walking down the path everyone else had gone down.

Lily gave a deep sigh and looked up at the garden. "Well, my friends," She whispered to the plants. "I guess it is time for me to go find him. Could you all, perchance, show me where he is?"
The flowers swayed forward in usion, as if nodding, then swished to make an easy shortcut for Lily. Through the path the earth child could see a trail of red on the corner of the main path.
She whispered her thanks and walked swiftly down the path, following the scent of Karsten's blood like a hound.

Karsten looked out at the water fall that beat relentlessly against the rocks at the bottom. It had a calming effect on him as he watched the endless water flying out of a hole in the ceiling of the Mountain.

Lily soon found herself at the site of the waterfall, mere yards from Karsten. She took another step, and another, before stopping and calling his name.
Her expression was that of defiance, and she held herself like a warrior ready for battle.

Karsten didnt turn but kept starring at the waterfall.
''You know, you walk quite quietlly for a human.'' He said as he watched the water splashing. His hand moved up and curled signaling Lily to come closer.

"I'll choose to take that as a compliment, Prince." Lily said, and walked over to him just a silently as she had entered. The earth child looked at the waterfall as well, her hands clasped behind her back.

Lily looked at him out of the corner of her eye, forgetting his power to read minds for a moment. Princes...why must you taunt me? Mmm...such lovely hair.
"A compliment from Karsten," She said, feigning surprise. "I shall alert the media."

Karsten chuckled. ''Like my hair I see...?'' He said smirking. He turned his heaed back to the water falls. ''Yes, probably one of the few I've ever given.'' He said a smirk still dancing over his lips,

Lily blanched, startled for a moment, then returned to her senses. "Ah...and is there a chance I will be receiving anymore of them in my lifetime?" She asked, turning to face him now. She leaned on a nearby rock, her fair,fair eyebrows raised to the highest altitude possible.
