Lily raised her eyebrows again and looked at Karsten out of the corner of her eye. "You don't like them? I admit Dimitri can be...downright maddening, but Jacques is cool." She said, bobbing her head to her own comment.

Maryjane paled, horrified. "Oh, no! I don't want you to take a little puppy from it's Mummy! That would be horrible! If you find one all alone and take it in...I'm fine with that."

Karsten shook his head. ''Jaqcues...ugh..He hangs around with that damned Elizabeth. If I say one word to the boy I get a smack on the back of my head from her. I cant stand her, yet for some reason she has yet to be put to the stakes or exiled.'' He said rubbing his head and shuddering from the thought.

Jaqcues laughed. ''Oh no, we werent going to just nab it. We were going to ask the wolves.'' He said.
Silas shook his head. ''That sounds ridiculous.'' ''Well, its not. How do you think Issamu has wolf? Hes one of our generals by the way...I havent seen him yet, I dont think hes here.'' He said in self-thought.

Maryjane brightened. "Oh..well, in that case, can you please get me a little wolf cub, Jacques?" She said, clasping her hands and looking up at him with her big lavender eyes.

Maryjane almost hugged Jacques, but stopped herself just in time. "Oh, thank you!" She said happily.

Lily nodded. "yes, it is...you're afraid of a woman! Big manly Karsten!" She snickered and almost fell off of the bench.

Jaqcues smiled and nodded. ''no problem, should we continue our tour of the gardens? Ill show you the waterfall, and we can rest at the stone bench Karsten has.'' He said smiling.
Silas nodded and looked around some more. The different amount of flowers was amazing.

Karsten grumbled. ''Every damn man in the Mountain is! Including some of the women! Shes the worst person you could ever meet! '' He said waving a hand in the air. Pieces of red and brown hair fell in front of his eyes and he sighed blowing it from his face.

Lily kept laughing and fell off of the bench, her chest heaving up and down with giggles as she lay on the ground. She had her hands on her stomach as if she was struggling to hold in the laughs. "I-I thought you...you were t-the toughest g-guy around! Hoo-hoo!"

Maryjane nodded, skipping along now. "The waterfall? Isn't that were Dimitri says we have to shower now?"

Karsten crossed his arms. ''If you dont stop laughing Im going to shove this bottle down your throat.'' He threatened a dead serious look on his pale face.

Jaqcues laughed. ''Not this one, this is the one that feeds the flowers water from underground.'' He said. ''This one you cant get to like the other, you can see it though.'' He said as he began to walk again.
Silas nodded. ''You can her the hum of water far off somewhere.'' He said listening hard.

Maryjane nodded, her lips forming an 'oh' as she listen to the far-off waterfall.

Lily didn't stop laughing. "T..try it, and I swear you'll be...be walking funny for the next few weeks." She said, giggling madly. The flowers turned on Karsten, blowing yellow pollen in his face and slapping at him with their leaves.

Lily snorted and st up, still laughing her head off. "Why?" She asked, smirking. "You certainly can't do anything, when you're afraid of my gender!" That set her off again, and she all but shreiked in laughter.

Maryjane smiled. "Yes, I...hey do you hea that?" She turned west upon hearing what she thought were screams of terror, not laughter. The little girl gasped. "Lily!"

Karsten growled and grabbed her arms and glarred at her. ''Dont make me regret letting you live.'' He said his voice sharp.

Jaqcues and Silas both gasped. Silas grabbed Maryjane and Jaqcues started running. Silas followed after keeping up with ease.

Lily was still giggling, but now there were tears of sorrow mixed in with the laughter. "Oh, go ahead, kill me! All I wanted was to clear my name, but I see that's impossible now!" She said, and the flowers drooped, greatly affected by her sadness.

Maryjane's face was chalk white from worry, and a hard lump grew in her throat.

A vampire with a clear, square-jawed face, carmel hair, and large, hard-working hands sat down near Dimitri.
"Hello, Victors," He said, in a voice every bit as deep as Dimitri's, as he held out a hand. "Name's Hugh."

Karsten let go of her his face still angry. His eyes however didnt look as angry anymore. ''You still can.'' He said slowly.
Jaqcues dved into Karsten and knocked him to the floor. ''WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER?!'' He yelled at the Prince. Karsten pushed him off and stood up. ''Are you forgetting who the Prince is?'' He hissed his red eyes glowing with fury.
Silas stopped as he reached the group. ''Oh my.'' He said looking around.

Maryjane broked free of Silas and rushed to a weeping Lily, putting her little arms around the bigger girl's neck.
Lily sniffed. "H-hey, sweetie." She said, trying to put a smile on for the child's sake.
