Julian smiled. "I'll do my best...Sol is by no means and easy man to get along with...but the others...the ones that like me, that is...you'll like them." She muttered, looking up at the celing.

''Alright, I hope I can come.'' She grinned, almost to a full smile but not quite. She pulled the cross necklace from inside her shirt and bit on the edge nervously, hoping she would be able to come.

Julian blinked, looking at her cross. "Hmm...you're a Christian ,then?" She winced slightly, as if remembering something, then added. "Or do you just like crosses?"

Julian nodded. "I thought as much...I myself that scientific junk is folly, but that is simply because I have experienced the evils of life first-hand." She grunted, then took out her flask again and took another swig of the black liquid inside.

Payne snorted and rolled her eyes, her eyes then focusing on the bookshelf. She looked briefly, almost every book in there about alchemy. ''Hmmm...'' She was thinking about her latest attempt in alchemy. She was still afraid to use certain types of alchemy, but others she never even thought twice before making something out of nothing.

Payne looked back at Julian with a smile, ''Thankyou...no one understands my thoughts and says its wrong to be the way I am. They never accept that I don't believe in such things.'' She sighed. There was no good explination to what who or even where he is, other than the clouds. That was just plain dumb, a man living in the clouds? What about when people fly in planes, or go outside the earth to the moon or something? Do they see a man with a beard sitting around working on magicspells to help make the world better?

Julian suddenly sprung up, her silver eyes wide. "Oh...oh, dearie me." She jerked her head and barked Payne's direction.,"You. Go to another room. Now." The guardian's face was paper-white, and she was biting her lip anxiously.

Julian shook her head, dark locks flying every which-way. "No, no time...just go!" She said, her tone frantic as she hurriedly stood and glanced anxiously around the room.

Payne rushed into the kitchen and sat at a bar table chair, crossing her legs and sighing, hair flying after her breath. ''Jeez..'' She dared to say quietly. She was curious to know what was going on, but she would ask later, she guessed she was telepathically sending thoughts through her mind to another person.

There was a faint sound of a breeze blowing in the room, and the air around Julian sudden;y became unbearabley cold. As the guardian hugged herself, shivering, a voice whispered right next to her ear. "Hello, Jules, my darling. Have you missed me?"
"G-geroff, Sabino." Julian stuttered from behind clenched teeth. As soon as the words left her lips, two arms appeared, as well as the tall figure of a man, and squeezed her tightly, causing her to gasp loudly.
