Her eyes softened a little bit, though still filled with the hate for that man. ''I can't believe he would do something like that..he always seemed so nice, and he betrayed me.'' She said her mind filling up the almost forgotten memory of the man. He always had conversations about sexual content. It sickened her that she ever met the horrid man.

Julian snorted, once again sounding cruel when she didn't intend to. "Yes, most of them do...though I daresay I fared better than you, when it comes to the lives of loved ones." She said, stretching her suddenly stiff joints.

''Are you intending something? I was only six for god sakes.'' She said, a touch of outrage starting in her voice. ''I had no idea what was going on until it happened! Do you know what its like being six years old, some guy that you don't know who he is let alone where he is or lives coming to attack you and your family?!'' She sighed, trying to calm herself down.

Julian looked at Payne, her silver eyes cool as ice. "I am not intending anything, child. And I don't know about being little, period. It seems as if I just made myself forget it all. So calm down, and if you need to ask me any more questions, do so." She said, her tone bland and soft.

Payne sighed, shaking her head slowly. ''I no longer have any questions. Thankyou for all the help, I really need it.'' She said, shivering for actually saying she needed help. She always refused help from another person, and here she was thanking someone for helping her. She looked at Julian silently, ''So...um...is there anything you want to ask me or anything?'' She said, her voice mellow and calm.

Payne shut her eyes, searching her mind for a long time. ''Yukio Hisoka...I remember he told me one day what it meant. It means Gets his own way and his last name means secretive...'' She sighed. Julian's left eye twitched slightly, but she experty hid it, tucking a peice of black hair behind her ear. "I see...and you now fear for your life because he has come back? Hmm...Hisoka...Sol will have to hear about that..." The last bit she mumbled, and looked to be deep in thought.

Julian blinked, looking up. "What? Oh, I was just saying Sol ought to here about this. I remember him saying something about a man named Hisoka...but in all probability I heard wrong." She said, trying in vain to flatten down her messy hair.

Julian chuckled. "Maybe you should. Sol is my leader...the leader of all guardians. And he is interresting, if a bit grouchy." She said, and this only made her laugh more.

Payne didn't really understand what was so funny so she didn't bother laughing. ''Alright...so you're a guardian?'' She asked, already knowing her obvious answer.

Julian pinched her own cheek to silence her laughter. "Yes, I am...and now that you bring it up, it may be safer for you to stay where there are more like myself, until we find Hisoka. Would you agree to that?" She said, her solemn expression back.

Payne paused for a moment, ''Alright.'' She said, a smiled forming on her lips. She heard about the guardians before, actually she wanted to be one herself. But she feared that it would never happen, maybe her time had come.
