Raymond glowered at the ceiling, obviously angered by the person the voice belonged to. "No, Lucifer...you stay away from her, y'hear?"
Sol harrumped. "Relax, young one. He can do nothing unless Payne is awake to agree to it."
Julian let loose a loud, high-pitched, angry warble. "Oh, out! Right now! You only bring death and unhappiness!"

((You wanna know what would be kool..since she doesn't know who Lucifer is..he could come up when no one else is around and she'll agree...sadly..))
Yukio got to the room after hearing the talking, he stepped into the room quietly and walked up beside Julian. ''Will she be okay?'' He asked Sol casualy.
((bleh....don't nkow what to say...she's not awak and he's dumb...so there's not much to put..))

The voice chuckled. Very well, love...since you asked so nicely...
Julian's shoulders hunched and she rubbed her forehead. "God, I hate him..." She grumbled.
Sol nodded. "She will be, as soon as Ray moves out of my way..."
The young guardian caught the hint and, gently placing Payne's head on the floor, scooted away from the two.
((I agree...about waiting until she's alone, I mean.))

Yukio inched over to Raymond and took him t oa place in the room where no one else could hear the conversation. ''Hey, what do you think of her? I have the strangest feeling that you like the girl. Could I be right?'' He said, and took a pause. ''Don't worry...I won't tell the girl...I know she pretty much loves you, its like one of those stupid female dramas, where its love at first sight, for her anyway.'' He said and looked at Payne, then back at Raymond.
((yeh, not too long from now though...and I was gonna change her picture anyhow...she was gonna have black hair at this point anyway, I magically changed her hair color...woosh! lol))

Raymond blushed, but saw not reason not to trust Hisoka's word and so spilled the beans. "Ah...yes, I admit I am strongly attracted to her..." He said quietly.
Sol placed one pale hand on Payne's forehead, closing his eyes as he let silver light run down his arm and onto the sleeping girl, healing her various wounds.
Julian watched this, fascinated.

Yukio smiled, ''How cute.'' He said mockingly, "You should say something, man. You know the ladies love sappy things like that.'' He smiled and nudged his side.
Payne felt a strange tingeling feeling and her mind confused her with still being on the line of consiousness. She lightly moaned, unable to move she was so tired, so she kept them shut and fell asleep again.

Ray smiled. "I do know...but Payne does not strike me as a woman who would fall head over heels just because I recite poetry to them...that's not my style, "man"..."

Sol removed his hands, smiling triumphantly. "There...good as new, so use an over-worked cliche." He said, and Julian patted his shoulder, smiling.

Payne felt a strange energy moving through her body, she opened her eyes and groaned. ''Ugh...I feel like someone cut my arm off and hit my head with a large bat.'' She said and sat up, trying to stand. She looked over to Sol, then Julian, the Raymond and Yukio. She stood up as best as she could then started to trip, her eyes not yet in focus. After a minute, she walked over to Julian. ''Julian...am I dead? I feel like it, and there was strange voice in my mind when I was sleeping. Am I crazy?'' She said and looked around, seeing the floor covered with bodies. Yukio smiled, ''Maybe she does...give it a try....say something when she thinks she's alive again..alright?'' He said. ''Or come up with something, she's been eyeing you ever since you got here.'' He sighed. Julian shook her head. "No...trust me, for I am both slightly insane and dead as well...you're alive, and I am hoping you are sane. The voice..." She looked at Sol.
The elder guardian sighed. "It is best that you not know about that particular voice, Payne dear."
Raymond smiled. "And I plan to do just that, my good fellow." He said under his breath, then turned to look at Payne.

Payne felt a pair of eyes on her back and she turned her head slightly. ''What are you two doing over there? Come here!'' She said warmly, ''Its not like I tried to kill you or something.'' She smiled. Her body felt good as new, her arm fine and a smile on her resfreshed face. ''But, why do I not want to know about it? It had to have been something.'' She said and looked at Julian again. Within a minute she went from dying to happy and usual again. She pushed a black lock of hair from her face and stood at a good angle where she could see everyone in the room. Her sapphire eyes were bright and were almost like a light itself.

Julian stood up. "You.Do.Not.Want.To.Know." She said, her tone harsh and brittle. "In fact, pray you never meet it's owner, child."
Raymond strode over to Payne and put his hand under her elbow. "Milady...are you alright?" He asked, his silver eyes flashing with slight worry.
Sol remained on the ground, flexing his nimble fingers. He seemingly ignored the rest of the room.

Yukio, repeated Sol's motions. Nothing.
Payne nodded, ''Alright...I'll keep a watch out for that.'' She smiled, then looked to Raymond. ''Yes, Raymond...I am fine.'' She smilled, and blinked slowly, her sapphire eyes not leaving the sight of his eyes.
((U know....I don't really nkow what any of them look like...except for Julian of course...but exactly does Sol and Paymond look like? I mean, I know the general features..but do you hae pics or anything? I just like to get a real visual look of them characters..lol))

Sol looked up at Julian, who sighed and sat down at his side, frowning heavily. The older man patted her shoulder in a fatherly way. Raymond impulsively touched her cheek with his slightly cold fingers, looking intently at her, as if to evaluate if she truly was alright. He obviously saw that she was and smiled. Payne simply smiled, ''What, would you not trust me? Come on, how can a face like this lie?'' She giggled, put a hand over her chest as she spoke.
Yukio sighed and looked away, the least the man could've done was talk to Payne privately. The man strode over to the couch and sat down, ''Why are you two on the floor? It is covered with blood and there's a couch here.'' He said.

Julian growled at him. It was answer enough.
Sol, forever the polite one, testily replied. "Because we like sitting on floors..."
Ray was about to answer when Julian grabbed a bloodied pillow and threw it at Payne and him. "Oh, go away, yer making my eardrums burn." She grumbled tiredly.
Raymond smiled. "Very well, then, Jules...Payne, if you will?" He replied cheerily, gesturing towards the door that led to the hallway.
