Dimitri sighed. ''Just help me get Thea off me please...I need to speak with Lauri.'' He said looking down at his wife. He hoped getting up wouldnt wake her. Not that he really could with her head laying on his lap.

Lauri had wandered into the ballroom. He knew it was one of the places Dimitri liked to goto when he was depressed or angry. It was one of the only rooms in his home with a piano. Sitting down on the glimmering black bench infront of the Grand Piano he began to play a soft tune. It was a song he had sung once with an accompaniment from Dimitri as back vocals the friends had added as a surprise to fans at a concert in a bar Dimitri owned.

Julian gave him her usual sardonic grin. "Well, since you said please..." The guardian snapped her fingers, and Thea rolled off of Dimitri, her hands resting lightly on her stomach and her eyes closed.
Julian smirked at this. "You're welcome, darling. Now run off and chat with your little friend."

Dimitri gave Julian a greatful smile, and though reluctantly, he stood from the bed and left the room. Hearing the soft notes of the piano, he went straight to the ballroom.
Lauri sat playing with his eyes closed and his mouth was moving slowly as he mouthed the words to the song.
''Hey, how is Mr.Lintu?'' Dimitri said chuckling at Nicole's pet name for the Finnish man.
''Oh, Im glad you came quickly. Now, I believe we have some business to attend to.'' Lauri replied looking up at the older man from his seat on the bench still.

Yargh! Julian, I've sneezed again!
Corey's voice in her mind made the guardian blink. What...? Oh! Oh, that...hold on, I have the hemlock right here. Just...don't let anyone see you, okay? I don't want to explain to anyone...I'm tired enough as it is.
There was a sigh, but that was the only answer from Corey.

Lauri and Dimitri had engaged in heavy conversation in the ballroom about the upcoming tour for Dimitri and how he would fair on it. He would need someone to keep Thea sane while he was gone, and he would need something to ease his Black Cough.
Nicole had sneaked up to the door to listen. She was almost certain of something terrible about Dimitri. She had a thought in her head that he had began to cut himself, and she knew he would tell Lauri anything. So there she sat, waiting.

Julian pulled a vial similar to her the ones that contained the cyanide she so relished. These, however, were made of blue glass and were filled to the stopper with a pearly white liquid. The guardian clutched the vile tightly and swept out of the room, leaving Thea to sleep silently on.
Corey, where are you?
I'm in the cellar...you know, the one under the ballroom. I can hear some people walking and talking above me, but I can't leave because I'm afraid they might see me. Try to slip in unnoticed, okay sis? Her brother replied, his voice anxious.

Nicole listened a bit more gorwing bored until Lauri said something about cutting. She shot up and hit her head on a picture hanging on the wall. It fell and smacked her on the top of her head. It being a rather larger piece of art, it knocked her to the ground. She bit her lip, she would need a good excuse for this one.
Lauri and Dimitri both got quiet and crept to see who was in the hall. ''Oh, Enkeli. Are you okay?'' Lauri said picking the picture up off of her and helping her up.
''Ugh, yeah...I was walking to get a drink of water...I was kinda groggy from sleep so I got dizzy I guess...''She said lieing through her teeth.

Downstairs in the pitch-black cellar, Corey cupped both hands over his mouth and closed his eyes. Oh, damn, damn,damn...please don't let them come down here, God! He thought desperately to himself.
Julian appeared with a snap at the end of the hallway where the three mortals were. She swore quietly, then tried to slink silently away into the shadows.

Nicole looked up thankful they bought her explaination.
Dimitri who was facing the oppisite direction of them blinked and looked at Julian who was seemingly trying to sneak off. '''Ey, Julian what are you doing...?'' He asked curiously. Not that it was his business, but there wasnt anything but the basement door in the direction she was headed, and nothing down there was really for her to be messing with.
Lauri tilted his head and looked at Nicole. ''Okay...Enkeli, you should get back to bed..'' he said sighing.

Julian didn't answer, but simply clutched her vile of hemlock tighter and strode off in the direction of the cellar.
Corey looked up, supposedly at the celing he couldn't see. Biting his lip, he fumbled for the top of his now ripped slacks and sighed. "Goodness, this is humiliating..." He murmered under his breath.

Dimitri sighed and shook his head. ''Filthy ghetto wh--'' ''DIMITRI LESTON VICTORS!!!'' Nicole erupted at his comment. Her voice rang out loud and angry at the man. Lauri put a hand over her mouth. ''Shh...people are sleeping.'' He whispered. The look in the war vetran's eyes said she could care less.
Dimitri simply shrugged. ''Its true.'' He said sighing as he sat on the carpeted floor.

Julian reached the cellar with out incident, and turned on the light.
A tall young man was standing amongst the boxes of discarded junk, clutching the desimated ruins of a pair of black pants. His eyes were a erie sort of greyish silver and his hair was as black as night, his features handsome and cat-like. The only frightening thing about him was the tufted lion's tail wrapped around his left leg. The man looked at Julian pitifully.
Julian nearly dropped the vial. "Oh, Holy Mother...this is worst than last time..."

Dimitri blinked as he listened to the two downstairs. He had hishead to the floor and could hear as if he was standing next to them. ''Hm..''
Nicole and Lauri simply looked on. Nicole was leanind on Lauri now because he wouldnt let her go see what was going on, so she was attempting to crush him against the wall, and she was failing horribly.

The man twitched, looking anxiously up at the celing. "Jules...the hemlock?"
Julian shook herself and handed the bottle of white liquid to the man, "Sorry...It's just, I've never..."
"...Seen me like this, I know. No one has. I wish to keep it that way." He said, then popped the vial of hemlock's stopper and downed the stuff. Within seconds Corey stood, clutching his stretched trousers. "Hmph. There, all better. I had this, I really, really do."

Nicole pouted. Dimitri had been listening in even more closely and she was growing bored. ''Asshole.'' She hissed before getting away from Lauri and walking away.
''Enkeli?!'' Lauri said stepping after her, but she had already turned into a different room, and no doubt was heading to another one from there.
