Lily covered her head with her hands, as if to shield her mind from Karsten. "Karsten...I meant nothing...just...just...go away!" She cried, then dahsed into the room, slamming and locking the door behind her.

Karsten sighed and shook his head as he walked from the door. ''What on earth is going on here......''He said sighing heavily once more as he began to walk to the throne room.

There was the sound of footsteps behind Karsten and Delphius's indigo top hat, as well as the messenger demon himself, suddenly walked beside the Prince.
"Hmm," He said, tapping his pointed chin. "My guess is that she has already started loving another and doesn't want you to know...but she seems a decent sort, so I don't know about that..."

Karsten stopped and glarred. ''I do not mind her loving another. I know Im dieing and I urged her to do so anyway...besides, what would a foolsih creature like you know?'' He hissed before he began walking again.

Delphius smiled. "Oh? Did I say human? I meant simply 'mortals'. And I shall leave...goodbye!" And with that, he faded into the rock wall silently and was gone.

"Ahem...if I may interrupt?" Oliver was suddenly leaning against the wall near the entryway, a book in his hand. His expression was nonchalant, his blue-grey eyes bland.
