Lily swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat. "Uh...not really, but...do you think I could get some mimosas? They're my comfort drink. And...preferably alchol-free."

Karsten nodded. ''Yes....Ill be back in a moment.'' He said brushing his hand on her cheek and gently standing up. He looked at her a moment before leaving to go get said drink.

Lily waited until the Prince was fully out of sight, then took her skirts in her hands so as not to trip after them and stealthily began to run towards where she knew Oliver's study was.

Lily reached her father's study, hufffing and puffing, and banged on the door. "Olie! Open up!" She howled.

Oliver, looking grim and annoyed at having his thoughts interrupted, slowly opened the door.
He perked up slightly when he saw Lily. "Why, Chickadee! Come right in!" The Prince said, giving a slightly forced smile and ushering his daughter into his study.

The Vampiress smiled and pulled him gently down a corridor going rather quickly. ''I think you should see this...''She said and opened a door up to a new room. Karsten looked in and a woman lay with her baby. He looked questioningly at the Vampiress who had the brown hair. ''What is this supposed to be?'' He asked looking back at the woman and her baby.
''Well, this baby you see is a pure blood. His mother and father both had black cough, his father has died, but...he shows no sign of having it....which seems impossible. Black cough is passed down now and it has been given to many new borns...but not this one...so we think that his blood is the key for us to find a cure.'' She said excitedly.
''No. We will not touch this child until it is old enough to decide on its own....do you enderstand? We will NOT touch him..why would you even think like that? We need all of our Vampire's at this point...the war combined with the cough, we will die without the childeren.'' Karsten said before walking away from them angrily.

A few minutes later, Lily was pacing the study and looking quite anxious.
Oliver calmly watched her, his long, pale fingers forming a steeple under his chin. "I'm sure we will be able to get through this, should Karsten perish. Though it will hurt me to say so, I will hold the Trials again, and perhaps we will gain another Prince."
Lily ran her hands through her blonde hair. "Oh, I don't know what to do!"

Karsten sighed as he walked back to the room Lily had been in slowly. He had a cup in his hand filled with her drink. ''Ugh...''He muttered exhaling sharply.

Suddenly small white hands closed around the cup of mimosa and tugged it from Karsten's grip. Lily stood behind the Prince, noiselessly sipping the drink. "Mmm...did I surprise you?" She asked innocently.
((Woah...don't ask how Lily got there so fast...she just...did.))
