Meier smiled and watched silently. In his hands another rose appeared, this one he kept for himself and he twirled it between his fingers aimlessly.
Nicole smiled happily and watched the band prepare to play. She couldnt wait to dance, she hoped she could actually dance without having her dress ride up though, it had a tendancy to do so just standing still.
Dimitri looked over is shoulder to see that Thea was still standing by the table of food.

Corey watched Will and the other members of the band raise their instraments. For a few seconds there was a strange, quivering silence, then they went off into a soft Victorian-era reel.
Julian grabbed Meier's hand and pulled him onto the space cleared for dancing, a big smile on her face.
Thea waved at Dimitri, a glass of wine halfway raised to her lips.
Corey gasped at this. "Thea, don't!" He said, hastily rushing over to and taking the glass form her.
Thea looked at him oddly. "Why not? It's not poisoned, I can assure you."
"It's not that...it's just...alchol isn't...well, it's not good for the baby."
Vivian, of course, shoked on her own wine. "Wha....?" She said, echoing the thoughts of eveyone who had heard.

Dimitri nodded and stood up from his seat. ''Hes right...''He murmered softly placing a hand on Thea's as he grasped it in his own cool hand.
Nicole gasped. ''Oh my...'' She said blinking at the news.
Meier smiled and put his arms about Julian. '' I take it you are going to bless me with this dance?'' He said giving her a smile although his mask obscured it a bit.

Thea squealed in happiness and leaped onto Dimitri, giving him a big kiss on the cheek. "Oh, Dimitri! A baby!" She cried jubilantly.
Julian nodded, not sparing her charge a glance as she placed her arms on Meier's shoulders.
Corey blushed and looked at his loafered feet.

Dimitri chuckled and nodded. ''Indeed, dea'.'' He said hugging herwith a large smile.
Nicole giggled standing next to Corey, whom she had walked over to. ''Aw, thats so cute...you two will be great parents! As long as mister 20 a day quites.'' She said pointing at Dimitri with a raised eyebrow.
Meier looked down at Julian as he began to lead. ''This is nice.'' He muttered softly.

Julian nodded as well, then asked impusively. "As nice as it used to be?"
Vivian giggled. "Oh, goodie!" She said, her cheeks a bright pink.
Theaput her feet back on the ground and kissed Dimitri once again on the cheek, too happy for words.
Corey nodded. "And you too, kitten." He commented.

Meier smiled and nodded. ''Better, who you where and who you are, both different, however, the same..I dont know..but I do know its nice all the same.'' He said smiling at her as he continued dancing with her.
Dimitri chuckled and smiled down at her with bright green eyes. ''This is wonderful...we are having a baby, and I can postpone the tour now!'' He said happily rubbing Thea's arm.
Nicole gave a slight smile and nodded. ''Hmm...I want to dance....Corey, would you like to?'' She asked raising an eyebrow. ''It'll be fun.'' She added.

Corey blushed, his thirteen-year old nature coming out as he hid his face behind pale hands. "I...I guess so...I might step on your toes once or twice." He said, removing his hands and looking at Nicole, smiling brightly.
Thea hugged him again, "Oh, what should we name it? How about...Katherine, if it's a girl? That was my mother's middle name..." She jumped up once excitedly.
Julian smiled back, her hand resting lightly on the back of Meier's neck as they danced. "Shh..." She said, winking at him.

Nicole smiled widely revealing her sprakling white teeth. ''Oh, it doesnt matter, Im just as bad. As you know, Im not really into things liek these...but, Dimitri made me come because he had to.'' She said shrugging. ''Lets go!'' She said happily and nodded towards the dance floor.
Dimitri nodded. ''Of course love, whatever you wish to name, the baby.'' He said giving her a happy look through his eyes, although his smile was no a mere line on his face.
Meier sighed and nodded. When he thought of the past, he had a tendency to say much ore than needed. The only reason being was because he was afraid of forgetting everything he had done with Sophie so long ago.

Siobhan, having walked over to her guardian moments ago, poked Anthony's arm with a manicured finger. "'ey...come dance with me....please?" She said, opting for a more amiable aproach than usual.
By the door, Micah snickered quietly.
Thea finally gave him a real kiss, her lips curled into a smile. After a few seconds she let go of him and went over to Vivian. The two jumped up and down excitedly.
Julian fixed the wreath of silver roses atop her black-haired head, looking away from Meier now.

Anthony looked up from the floor where he had locked his eyes to keep himself in line. ''Huh? Oh...well I dont think.......I mean, well....I suppose...just, please....dont, get to close...'' He said softly looking into her eyes now.
Dimitri smiled and looked up and across the room at his brother, he had a questioning look on his pale face. Dimitri mouthed to him, Ill tell you later and Jaqcues nodded in response.
Meier smiled and hummed softly to the song they were playing, jut putting a simple melody to the tune, not that it had any real meaning.

Siobhan shrugged. "Hey, I know. It's just I'm fairly certain no one but Toalie and Micah are going to dance with me, so...whatever." She said, then nodded towards the dance floor.
Corey smiled and, placing a gentle hand on Nicky's shoulder, led her to the dance floor.
Vivian and Thea conversed rapidly about several things...mainly, the new baby.
Julian silently danced now, her own silver eyes on the floor.

Anthony nodded and held his hand out to her. ''Alright then sweetheart.'' He said shifting his gaze to the ceiling then back to Siobhan's green eyes.
Meier sighed contentdedly for the first time in months and let his mind wander freely as he danced ithout thought with Julian.
Alexsie sighed and sat down n a chair looking up at Jyrkie who was starring boredly at Rephalt as the man stood silently next to Isabelle.
Nicole smiled and when she got onto the dance floor she put her arms loosely on Corey's shoulders, and her right arm was slightly wrapped around his neck.

Maggie lurked around the perimeter of the ballroom, her chocolate surveying everyone in turn with the same cool, knowing gaze.
Siobhan took both Anthony's hands in hers, careful to void the touching of their bodies, and slowly, gracefully began to dance.
Corey forced himself not to blush and also began to dance, his eyes on his feet to make sure he didn't step on Nicky.

Anthony sighed and danced with his charge. He wsnt the best dancer in the world, but simply mumbling a spell fixed that problem. ''Gninrom thgil struh ruoy seye, tub sti rehtona gniht.'' He mumbled silently to himself in a low singing type of voice.
Nicole simled and swayed slightly as she danced with Corey. ''Your not as bad as you pt on.'' She said quietlly looking at him.
