Julian stopped pacing, and against her will a smile spread across her own lips. "Of course I should. It's proved to be a sure way to keep me alive, being worked up." She replied, crossing her arms over her chest.
Maggie exaimened Lauri from behind as throughly as a coronor examines a lifeless body, then gave a poisoned smile.
Corey took her hand and pulled himself up, brushing dirt off his pants.
Thea nodded silently in agreement.

Meier gave a slight shrug. ''Oh,well...I guess I dont want you to die....however, you need not worry, nothing life-threatening will happen to you tonight.'' He said rubbing his gloved hand over the other.
Lauri patted Nicole's shoulder. ''Im gonig to go say hei to Dimitrious and Althea.'' He murmered switching over in languages a bit. He then walked off to find his friend and his wife.
Dimitri chuckled slightly and rubbed Thea's arm closest to the hand circling gently over her shoulder.

Maggie sighed as she felt a tap on her shoulder--Eoin had insisted on accomponaying(sp?) her tonight, so she knew it was only a little while until the ghost did something...strange.
"Si, Amigo?" She whispered.
Do you know who that lady is? That's Julian McCauley...
Maggie sighed. "Si...you only told me un millón times..."
Julian heard this, but did not turn around. "Well...any other reason that you came her...I know it can't be just to see little old me..." She said, smiling behind her silvery mask.
Thea scooted a bit closer to her husband, smiling brillantly.

Meier chuckled. ''No other reason. Simply because you where here...oh, and I needed to give you this.'' He said holdig out his hand. It was empty, then a rose appeared. It was royal blue in color, but he blew on it and it turned purple. ''Go ahead, try blowing on it.'' He said smiling at her from behind his mask although the frown painted on it didnt change.
Dimitri smiled as Lauri walked towards them. ''Hey, Lauri.'' h Dimitri said nodding. ''Oh, why isnt it the Victors..'' He said smirking behind his mask. ''How are you guys?'' Lauri asked from behind his mask.
Nicole sighed deeply and looked at Corey a moment, then o the ground, then to somewhere unseen.

Corey rested his hand on Nicky's shoulder, giving her a small, innocent smile.
Julian raised her eyebrows, though the gesture was hidden. "Mmkay.." She said, then blew on the rose, which turned a bright scarlet. "Oh...It's lovely!"
Thea shrugged, smiling. "Well, it's pretty much okay, I guess...you?"

Nicole looked at Corey and studied him a moment. It was funny how different he looked when he sneezed.
Meier smiled and handed it to her. ''It has been enchanted, so even the most magically impaired can change the color of this rose.'' He said softly. ''You have some natural talent though, so..Im sure with a great deal of practice you might be able to without it being enchanted.'' He said shrugging slightly.
Lauri shrugged. ''I suppose so. Hey, have you heard about the betting pool the boys stated?'' He asked biting his lip.

Thea's smile dropped, to be replaced with a bemused frown. "...betting pool? What are they betting on, praytell?" She asked.
Julian rolled her eyes, trying to hide her joy at being complemented. "Ah, well, there you have it..." She said,
Corey felt her eyes on him and looked up at the celing, his pale cheeks going pink from embarressment.

Dimitri sighed. ''What is it...'' He said sensing something bad was about to come. ''Well..the odds are...10 to 3 that you to have, you know...yet. They guys and I, along with the guys from my band and even a few of The 69 eyes were at a bar, we got bored...and started to bet on you two...so, I was really sent her to get the information from you two...'' Lauri said rubbing the back of his head.
Meier smiled and nodded. ''Indeed,'' He said nodding.
Nicole sucked in a giggle daring to slip out as she looked away from Corey. She loosened her grip on his hand that she hadnt released from helping him up. Now it was just akward standing in slence.

Purely to break the silence, Corey whispred. "Cornbread muffins..." Then he smiled at his own oddness.
Thea's face turned brillant red. "LAURI, I SWEAR, IF YOU WERE NOT MY HUSABAND'S FREIND, i WOULD PASTE YOU TO THE WALL AND DEVOUR YOUR BRAIN, FOR YOU OBVIOUSLY HAVE NO USE FOR IT! SUCH THINGS SHOULD ONLY BE KNOWN BY US!" She roared, then settled down and smiled at him. "But, yes, we have."
Julian winced and turned around. "Wowza...that was...strange..."

Lauri jumped up and clapped his hands. ''Great! I just won, by....$28.97. Gas, Linde and I all betted you guys had, the rest were against you. Shit, I gotta get back there to tell them before they steal my money and sell my shit on Ebay...sorry to run so quickly.'' He said patting Dimitri's shoulder and hugging Thea. He went over to nicole next and hugged her. ''Goodbye Enkeli.'' He said before walking off.
''Bye, Lintu!'' She called after him smiling. ''Hes so odd..''Nicole murmered to Corey.
Dimitri chuckled and shook his head. ''Oh wow...''

Thea growled, seething, and leapt away to go gorge herself on heaps of chocolate with a "Stupid, brainless little man..."
Julian put her hands to her mouth and gave her throaty laugh, her silver eyes twinkling behind her mask.
Corey smirked after him. "Hey, I've met odder--just look at my sister..." He said, then looked up at the celing and silently wondered when the band would arrive.

Dimitri could only smile at his wife's comment. He shook hs head slowly and sighed as he found himself a chair to sit down on.
Nicole gave a quiet chuckle. ''Oh yes,I suppose your right..''She said niodding in slight response.

Corey smiled, looking away from the celing, to the open doors. "Ah...look, the bands here!"
About a dozen people, the men dressed in white tuxedo shirts, black bands, and black ties, the woman in loose=fitting white blouses and black skirts, walked into the ballroom, toting all kinds of intruments.
At the back, who else but Willam Ives stood, an oaken violin in his hands and his expression pleasantly surprised.
Corey waved at him. "Hello, Will!"
Julian turned back to Meier and winked at him. "As soon as they start, would you like to dance?"

Nicole watched the band walking in with a raised eyebrow as she milled over who they were.
Meier smiled and nodded. ''Of course, you were always an excelent dancer.'' He said kissing her forhead quickly.
Anthony sighed inwardly and shut his silver eyes a moment as he rested is head back against the wall he was standing against. He wished time would just fast forward sometimes.

Siobhan watched the band silently and gracefully settle down in a cluster of chairs at the northwest corner of the ballroom, looking pleased at how things were going now.
Julian blushed and turned her head to look at the band, silently waiting fro them to start playing.
Corey bit his lip and anxiously looked down at Nicky, but said nothing. He longed to ask her to dance...but she'd probably say no and he'd look like s fool, so he kept quiet.
