'Toalie' patted Evanne's rosy head, turning his attention back to her when Marisa-Maggie did not answer. "Of course I came, sweet pea! I would have hated to miss such a glorious event!" He answered jubilantly, and Mina sighed and went to stand next to Anthony.
Marisa-who-was-Maggie sighed and looked at her timepeice again. "39 seconds..."
Corey patted his charge's shoulder and smiled down at her. "Hey, don't worry about her...she's just mad because her lover's not here."
Julian snorted but backed off, sulking next to the door.
Thea nodded paitently at Vivian, who had resumed her tallking.
Isabelle shrugged. "Hey, who says they don't deserve it?"

Anthony sighed and shifted on his feet waiting for the doors to open so he could stand alone to simply watch over his charge.
Nicole smiled and shook her head. ''Somehow I think he will turn up before the end of the night...''She said raising a thin eyebrow at the sky as if asking a silent question then looked back to Corey with a smile.
Rephalt shrugged. ''They deserve everything coming to them I guess..'' He mumbled looking to his left.
Jyrkie growled and crossed his arms over his built chest. ''I cant wait to leave.''He muttered. Alexsie simply put a caring hand on his shoulder.

Toalie hoisted the teenager hanging from his waist up onto his broad shoulders with a big smile. Evanne giggled wildly as he sprang over to the door.
Julian seemed not to have heard her, but a smile crept across her lips all the same.
Corey leaned against the wall, blowing a lock of dark hair from his face. "Well, won't she be happy then?" He said, smirking back at her.
Isabelle nodded, silently agreeing. "Oh, look!" She said, pointing at the doors. Somewhere a clock chimed midnight, and the massive oak doors opened to reveal Siobhan and Micah, both of them grinning.
Mina smiled and adjusted the black box under her arm.

Nicole smiled widely and nodded. ''Indeed she will be.'' She said twirling a piece of curly hair around her finger as she looked up to the now open doors.
Anthony let out a long sigh. ''It was about time..''He muttered rubbing his pale chin softly. His eyes flickered over Siobhan despite the great effort he used not to do this. He had had the same problem standing there with all of the women around them. They all struck him as attractive..he needed to see a physc.
Rephalt gave a smile. ''Ah, good. Now the fun can begin.'' He said giving Isabelle a quick kiss on the neck.

Thea instantly brightened. "Sio!" She squeaked, throwing her arms around the other red-haired woman.
Siobhan smiled and held the half-vampiress at arms length. "Why, hello, Thea, darlin'..." She caught sight of Anthony and winked at him.
Vivian walked over to Micah and gave him a swift hug. "Yo, Micah..." She said, and the man chuckled.
Isabelle smiled and quickened her pace in walking over to the door.
Siobhan cleared her throat. "Greetings, my friends! Refreshments are inside and the band will be along in 20 minutes or less, so I suggest you all get inside and enjoy yourselves!"
Mina, Maggie, Evanne, and Toalie all simutaneously beamed.

Anthony respond with a simple nod and scooted inside to find a nice dark corner to stand in for the rest of the night.
Dimitri smiled, at least Thea was felling a little better about things. He looked to Jaqcues who gave him a sorry look. ''Lets go inside.'' Dimitri said nodding to his brother to go on ahead of them.
Rephalt smiled and walked faithfully beside his girlfriend to the doors.
Alexsie smiled. ''This will be fun.'' He said trying to lighten his lovers mood. Jyrkie simply growled in reply.

Thea grabbed Vivian and roughly pulled her over to the refreshment table. The two began to pig out on the mountain of Hershey's kisses stacked there.
Sio caught sight of Isabelle and Rephalt and smiled. "Oi, if it isn't li'l Izzy Silver?" She said, walking swiftly over to the two. "An' who's this handsome lad?"
Micah coughed as Anthony walked by. "You now, Sio's gonna make you dance with her before the night is through." He cautioned.

Rephalt looked at Siobhan. ''Im Rephalt Moulern.'' He said giving her a small smile.
Dimitri sighed and walked into the room with his brother. ''Your going to have to talk to her and beg forgiveness if you want to be accepted in the mansion again...its no longer only my descision.'' He said looking at Jaqcues. The boy nodded. ''I know.
Anthony shook his head. ''Thats what Im afraid of. Im already having...problems.'' He murmered softly looking at Micah from behind his hair and mask.
Nicole smiled and took Corey's hand. ''Come on, lets go.'' She said nodding to the open doorway.

Siobhan saluted him. "Please ta make ya accquantince, siah...I'm Siobhan Aoibheann, an' tha' blonde slob ova' t'ere is me brother Micah." She replied, grinning.
Micah, not having heard this, sighed. " I know, mo chara...but I'm afraid I must hold onto my brotherly duty to freak you up if you harm her. I'm sure you understand that. Now, go sit down somewhere--I'm sure Sio's not the only one who'll want to dance with you." He replied, turning back to face the doors.
Thea, on the other hand, heard every word Dimitri and Jacques said and stuff some more chocolate into her mouth angerily.
Finn strode into the ballroom, Evanne still perched on his shoulders. Mina silently followed, a small half-smile on her face.
Maggie grabbed herself a cup of punch, but strangely did not take a sip of it.
Corey grinned childishly. "Lead the way, milady." He said.
Vivian's brunette head jerked up, her small, round nose sniffing ardently. "I smell something...strange." She whispered.

A tall, pale skinned young woman with cascading waves of midnight-black hair walked casually down the sidewalk, a smile on her face. She wore a tight-fitting, low-cut, barely thigh-length dress of black satin and red lace. Around her white neck a scarlet bow was fastened, shining in the moonlight. Her face, excpet her ruby red lips and chin, were hidden by a cardinal-and-raven-feather mask.

Rephalt chuckled softly andnodded. ''Agh, well, I suppose I should introduce the two behind me, Alexsie and Jyrkie. A bunch of sourpuss'....anyway, shall we go to the party Bella?'' He asked looking at Isabelle with a raised eyebrow although it was obscured by his mask.
Anthony nodded. ''By all means pull me off her if you need to...Ill be over here in this corner if you need me.'' He said with a slight sigh before slinking away before micah could respond and to a lonely corner by himself.
Jaqcues and Dimitri parted and went different ways. Dimitri went over to Thea and looked down at her with a small smile. ''Any betteR?'' He asked biting the inside of his lip afterwards hoping she was.
Nicky gave him a big smile before gently pulling him after her and past the great doors and into the large room hosting the masquarade. ''This is rather exciting.'' She said smiling happily.

Thea nodded, a Kiss halfway to her mouth. "Sorta...this stuff really helps." She said, giving him a slightly forced-looking smile.
Vivian, hooked on the new, unfamilar scent, left the couple and flounced over to the door and stuck her head out.
Micah snorted and did not reply, crossing his arms over his chest.
Corey nodded vigoursly, smiling. "Oh course it'll be...you're here!" he said, looking around the ballroom with his wide silver eyes.
Isabelle, looking pleases with the new nickname, nodded. "Sure." She said, giving him a sparkling smile.
Siobhan smiled cheerily at ALexsie and Jyrkie. "Oh? Hopefully tonight'll fix it..."
The dark woman neared the door, her red high-heels slapping loudly on the ground. Siobhan shivered as the masked woman walked past her--the air was very,very cold around her.
Maggie froze, frowning as she sensed an unwelcome prescense.

Dimitri nodded and kissed her forhead. ''Good.'' He said giving her another smile hoping maybehis fake happiness would turn her fake happiness into bouncy Thea happiness. (woah)
Nicole raised a thin eyebrow and nodded. ''How sweet Corey.'' She said looking over her shoulder at him. She was trying to decide where to go now that they where in the center of the room.
Rephalt gave a last smile to Siobhan. ''See you around then.'' He said before nodding to Isabelle and gently pulling her beside him into the ball. ''I hope they dont follow us all night..''He muttered
Alexsie gave a small smile to Siobhan keeping is fangs hidden. Jyrkie on the otherhand was about to hiss when Alexsie hugged him quickly shocking him. ''Okay, nice to meet you, lets go, Jyrkie..''He said desperately trying to pull his raven haired lover away from the girl.

Siobhan blinked, then her face became hard. "Hey, mista...I'll not have ya wreck me party, so I suggest ya put a li' on tha' tempa o'yours, savvy?" She growled, then trust her nose into the air and strode off.
Corey was about to answer when he heard a voice that made him recoil in horror.
"Corey, my lovely! Azelzela's here!" The newcomer screamed, beaming behind her mask.
The young guardian gulped. "Oh, god, not her..." He groaned.
Maggie twitched and longed for Esmeralda to shoot the girl with.
Thea turned around, frowning. "Wha...?"
Isabelle raised her black eyebrows. "I'm starting to think they're the least of our worries tonight, Al..."

Jyrkie smiled widely. ''Oh, what fun. I dont believe we have seen her in ages.'' He said in an almost excited voice to Alexsie.
Nicole looked at Azelzela with rather calm eyes. However her light grip on Corey's hand tightened a little bit.
Dimitri raised an eyebrow. ''Hum...Azelzela...whos that?'' He asked her softly.
Rephalt looked up. ''Oh god...'' He muttered. He shook his head. ''This is not going to be good.''
Anthony raised an eyebrow from his leaning position in the corner. ''Mmm..''He mumbled looking at the newcomer. He smiled slightly after she announced her name, he should have known.

Azelzela turned to Anthony and blew him a kiss. "And don't think I've forgotten you, honey-pie!" She called, while Corey made a half-hearted attempt to hide behind Nicky.
"Grah...and this party was going well..." The guardian whined.
Isabelle nodded. "You said it...do you know her?"
Julian jerked up right from where she had been talking to Vivian and hissed. "Azel! Go away! Don't make me sic Nicholas on you!"
Thea shrugged. "Beats me...but not anyone good.."
Siobhan and Maggie growled in anger.
