Dimitri and Nicole stayed quiet watching Jaqcues walk impossibly graceful towards them. Th boy looked at them all silently. ''Hello.''He finally said in his velvety voice.
Dimitri and Nicole didnt reply, simply starred at what they both had thought gone forever.
Anthony nodded absently looking over to Jaqcues. ''Interesting. Do you know him?'' he asked looking back to Marisa.

Marisa sniffed. "I know his type." She said, her smooth voice unusually alarmed.
Thea shot a glance at him. "Hello, sir." She said cooly, and Vivian blinked confusedly.
Then, of course, Julian and Corey appeared with a snap. The elder McCauley was dressed in her usual black trenchcoat, but under it was a beautiful, shimmering silver gown that twinkled when she moved. Her face was hidden by a eye mask of the same color and her dark hair was combed into a shiny bun and topped with--what else--silver roses.
Corey was in his sneeze form, so as not to be recognized, and sported black tuxedo, the same silver flower pinned to his lapel. Under neath the coat he wore a shirt made of the same material as his sister's dress.
"Well," Announced Julian, while Corey winked at Nicole. "Why is it always me that ends up breaking the silence?"

Jaqcues waved a hand infront o Dimitri's face. ''What, never seen a dead blood before?'' He said teasingly. Dimitri sighed and looked away. ''Hello.'' He murmered.
Nicole raised a shakey finger and poked Jaqcues' arm. ''But...you left...why did you come back?'' She asked unsure if she was seeing things. She had absent mindedly stepped away from Jacues now and a bit behind Corey.
Anthony nodded slightly. ''I see...''He said looking back to the new comers and the odd looking man with wings.

Thea blinked, turning around. Not to look at Jacques, of course, but at the couple walking towards the group. The woman had locks of darkest ebony which fell to her pale shoulders, lips of ruby red, and eyes of blue topaz mixed with ivy green. She wore a gown of pure white and a mask made of swan feathers. On her arm was none other than Rephalt.
Corey raised his eyebrows at Jacques, then at Nicole. "Well, kitten, how do you think I'm here?"
Marisa couched. "4 minutes...I'm guessing more guests will arrive any minute now."

Rephalt smiled behind the msk he wore. It was white with golden edges. He had a pair of black pants and a white button up shirt that was buttoned up halfway u his chest. He had a cape over his right shoulder and his pink and white hair was tied up. ''Looks like alot of people are already here.''He murmered.
Nicole sighed and shook her head slowly. ''Nevermind.''She said quietlly looking to the ground. Jaqcues shifted uneasily on his feet and looked up at the dark sky.
Dimitri wavd sligtly to Rephalt and Izzy as tey approached. Behind them where two men. One was in all white with blonde hair and the other in all black with black hair. Both looked exactally oppisite of one another.
Anthony nodded. ''Yes...it looks as if most havecome with their significant other.''He murmered.

Julian recoiled in disgust apon spying the men, shaking her dark-haired head. "Fools, in my opinon...and,as you can see, I am dateless..." She grunted, and Corey simply shrugged. "Sister, you believe that all who oppose you are fools."
The elder sibling grimaced, but new he was right and so stayed quiet.
Marisa frowned fully now, looking at her timepeice. "3 minutes..." She murmered.
Izzy nodded. "Yeah...I bet this'll be talked about for ages." She replied, smiling radiantly.
Thea and Vivian went back to chatting, but Thea seemed a tiny bit more withdrawn than before.

Nicole sighed heavily and twirled a piece of curl hair between her fingers. Dimitri was now looking at Thea and Vivian listening to them talk. Jaqcues was saced out still looking at the sky.
''Do you thin it was right of us to come?'' Came the man in whites melodic voice. ''Of course Alexsie. Our property came, so, naturally we did too.'' The taller man replied cooly.
Rephalt sighed heavily. ''Ah, I agree.''He said trying to ignore the two behind them.

SCREE!
The sidewalk screeched as a wild-looking girl with bubble-gum pink hair done up in a messy bun and sparkling amber eyes barreled down down it. She wear a knee-length black dress trimmed in golden lace, which matched her painted fingernails. Her feets were clad in heavy black boots with flat heels. A broad smile was plastered on her face. Under her arm she carried a heavy-looking black box.
Marisa was silent as she listened to the seconds until the doors were opened tick away.
Isabelle turned to look at the newcomer, her dark eyebrows raised. "Wonder who that is..."
Julian sighed. "Marquette. She's in charge of the entertainment tonight. Make sure to watch your hair around her, lest it start smoldering." She grumbled boredly, though Izzy was several yards away from her.
Corey turned to Nicole. "Well, kitten...you look nice tonight. I don;t think I've ever seen you in a dress."

Anthony looked up and sighed. ''So the fun begins..''He murmered sarcasticlly.
Dimitri raised both eyebrows at the newcomer. ''What on earth..''
Rephalt sighed. ''Thank you Julian..''He murmered hearing the guardian.
Nicoe shrugged slightly. ''Thanks...I think this is the first time I have worn a dress period. '' She said looking down at it. ''I think it is a bit...much.'' She murmered more to herself thn anyone.

Corey nodded. "Indeed...It is a bit too short...I'm sure half the men not otherwise engaged will be ogling at you from behind." He said, grinning.
From behind 'Marquette' as she was called, a young girl with pink hair as well lost control of herself and barreled into Jyrkie, landing on her bottom with a thump. "Oh..." She said, "Sorry, sir!"
Mina smiled and walked towards her sister with a sigh.
Julian shrugged. "Even I have only an inkling of an idea, Dimitri darling. And you're quite welcome, Rephie." She said.
Marisa snorted at the choice of nicknames and turned back to her watch.
Isabelle looked at the girl on the floor, blinking slowly.

Nicole smirked. ''Ah yes. Keep your eyes up here mister McCauley.'' She said pinting to her eyes.
Jyrkie looked down to the girl with ice in his eyes. Alexsie helped her up. ''Its okay. Be on your way little one.'' He said before Jyrkie could do anything.
Rephalt nodded and bit his tongue.
Dimitri looked away and then back to Thea. ''Dear... are you okay?'' He aske raising an eyebrow.
Anthony chuckled and shookhis head.

The girl raised pink eyebrows and raced off to the safety of her sister. Mina gave Jyrkie a cool, calculating glance, then strode over to the doors. "Pah!" She muttered under her breath. "Well, nice to see there are some good people nowadays, Evanne."
Thea looked up at her husaband. "I'm Fine." She said simply.
Corey blushed deeply, and Julian smiled and clapped her brother on the back. "Oh, he's too much of a gentlemen to do anything but look, darling."
Marisa sighed, looking sideways at Anthoony. "A minutes and 20 seconds..."

Alexsie smiled slightly and looked over to a frowning Jyrkie. ''What is it now?'' He asked looking at the black haired man.
''Look at all of the Guardians,Vampires,Elemental Children, and if my senses arent tricking me....even a dead blood. Look. Alexsie we are sadly outnumbered by many who hate us if anything goes wrong and Rephalt does something we must intervine on.''
Alexsie just shrugged. ''Dont worry about it. Half of them wont do anything.'' He said quietlly.
Rephalt rolled his eyes at the conversation behind them. ''Those two..''He muttered.
Dimitri sighed and put a small kiss on her cheek hoping maybe to help a little. He had a feeling he knew why she had suddenly grew so grim. He looked to his brother and mouthed the word, 'sorry' and then gently nodded his head to Thea.
Jaqcues shook his head and gently nodded to Thea then brought his finger to his throat and slid it across like she would kill him.
Nicole smiled and rubbed her arm. It was always fun to make men squirm and blush. She had done it once before to Dimitri when she had met him the first time. ''Dont worry..''She said holding in some giggles. ''I wont break you inhalf if your eyes wander.''

Julian shoook her head, still wearing a smile. "Dear, if you did, then I'd string you up from the celing by your fingers and toes and shoot you with those guns of yours."
Corey looked at his sister and charge incrediously. "Julian...she was just joking..."
Jules simply smiled. "So was I, brother...you forget my twisted sense of humor."
Isabelle shrugged. "What can you do? They have every right to be cautious if Toalie shows up, you have to admit." She replied, and as if her words held some kind of magic, a young man loped into view, a large grin on his face.
His hair was blonde and sparkled like it was made of glass, his handsome face covered from the forehead to the cheek by a mask made of gold taffeta. He was impeciably dressed in a cremy off-white suit with golden trimming on the cuffs of his sleeves and pants.
Evanne Marquette squealed and tackled the man, hugging him around the waist. "Toalie, you came!"
Mina sighed, rubbing her forehead with the flat of her palm. "Oh, burning suns of Asia..."
Marisa froze as the newcomer's shining eyes fell of her. The man smiled and called. "Why, Maggie! What in heaven's name are you doing here?"
Thea rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest. She could hear footsteps inside the ballroom--the doors were going to be opened soon.
Vivian sighed at her friend's moodiness and shook her brunette head.

Nicole smiled and shrugged. ''Oh well.'' She said blinking her eyes from behind her red mask.
Anthony looked up to the doors he was standing near, he was anxies(sp?) to get inside now. To many people where around him outside.
Dimitri sighed and gave up on trying to cheer his wife up. Jaqcues glarred down at the ground without a sound as Dimitri studied him.
Rephalt chuckled and shook his head. ''Poor men..'' He muttered shalking his head.
