"No, no. Nicholas helped me. And the demon.. Well, lets just say right now he's a pile of purple goo on the sidewalk. Not very intimidating anymore." she grimancedremembering the demon's nasty stench and its head. Not a pretty sight, or one that she wanted to remember. Ezalia yawned, grabbing a chair and perching on it next to Lian.

Aubrey nodded. "I'm glad to hear such a thing, but...I do wonder why he helped you...Maybe I don't know him well enough, but I daresay he's not the type to save damsels in distress wantonly." He said, looking out the window with a curious expression on his pale face.

"Maybe he just finds me attractive." Lian teased, knowing that would get both of their attention. Ezalia's dream-like stare snapped, and she glared at Lian. Lian had to press her lips together to stop from smirking. "And I daresay I'm not much of a damsel in distress."

Aubrey had quite a time forcing himself not to flush with color, but despite his efforts a tiny bit of rosiness sprang upon his cheeks. This was easily hidden by a wave of Aubrey's hand. "I wouldn't know...but, perhaps, you should ask him. No doubt he is listening to us right now...those higher-ups find spying enjoyable..."

"Spying, does it matter? And is that color I see on your cheeks?" she asked with a playful tone, smirking. Ezalia looked a bit alarmed at the word spying, and began to fiddle with her hair, trying to make it look good.

Aubrey shook his head violently. "Oh, now, I just---" Oh, Aubrey...yes, yes you were. I can always tell... The dark-haired man frowned. "Gracious...do you delight in causing trouble, Nicholas?" Yes...yes, actually I do. It's in my blood, you know. Replied Invisi-Nicholas.

(( Muahahaha... Sorry if Lian seems like a Mary Sue or godly charrie or whatever.. But she does have her weaknesses.. Like being chased by horibly repulsive demons.. Lol.. ))
Lian smiled at the 'arrival' of Nicholas, and fought back a giggle. She saw the redness in Aubrey's cheeks, no doubt about it. Ezalia merely stood there, perplexed. She of course, couldn't see or hear Nicholas's prescence, so she remained clueless but said nothing. "Good to see you again, Sir Nicholas." she said, her voice soft and 'respectful', but with a twinge of rebel-ism (If thats a word...)

Aubrey sighed. "Yes, I know...and I thought you were the nice one..." Nicholas, still in his school boy uniform, walked into the cafe. "Oh, I am...compared to my father and sister." He said, then turned to Ezalia. Copying Aubrey's greeting, he took her hand and politely kissed it. "Evening, Lady Ezalia."

Lian laughed, a soft, haunting giggle, when Ezalia turned bright red. With the sudden greeting, the familiar had begun to purr. As the lynx-girl willed herself to stop, the purr grew softer, but it was still there. "Good Evening to ..you too... Sir Nicholas." she stuttered, her furry ears twitching ever so slightly.

Nicholas let go of her hand, a smirk dancing on his pale lips, and in his golden eyes. He said nothing, however, and a moment later he turned to Lian and bowed his head slightly. "Madam Lian...Aubrey..." Aubrey sighed and touched his two fingers to his pale brow. "Evening, Your Highness."

Ezalia sid nothing after that, merely sat in her chair and blushed a deep crimson. Lian nodded her head, still trying to hold back the haunting giggles. She hadn't seen Ezalia so flustered in quite a while, and it amused her.

Aubrey was about to comment on Ezalia's state when he heard Lian laughing. His bad mood evaporated like so much water and he rested his forehead on his palm and his elbow on the table, silently listening to her. Nicholas sat down across from Aubrey, still smiling. "Well, I would dearly love to come to you all with good news for once, but I am afraid that is hardly ever the case..."

Lian's laughter subsided. She nodded solemnly. "Alright. Bad news- give all the details." she said, her face emotionless. Ezalia was still a bright red, and didn't quite hear everything that was being said.

Nicholas clasped his snow-white hands on top of the table, frowning slightly now. "You may already now this, my friends, but it is no offical--Sabino Bonicelli is back." A lightening could have went through Aubrey's spine and he wouldn't have sat up any faster. "The traitor Bonicelli? But...that's impossible...Lily Ladanyi and and Jacques Victors killed him...I am certain of it...he could not have survived..."

"Yes, I know. It is of great concern within the Ghost's council." ( by that she means Dante's gange, Ghosts of the Night. I made this up, so don't ask Darky.. -.-; ) Lian sighed, folding her hands into a tent shape. Ezalia blinked, her golden eyes flickering from Lian to Nicholasas she remained silent. Lian turned to Aubrey. "You did not know of this?"
