Lian giggled a bit, her eyes sparkling with a mischevious glint. "Hey, don't worry. It's not that big of a deal, I'll be fine. Trust me, I'm used to doing suff like this."

Aubrey, not surprisngly, blushed deeply again. He placed his gloved hands neatly in his lap. "Well, it's my nature to be a bit of a ninny, I'm afraid." he said, an apologetic tone to his voice. ((Heh, same here...))

Lian smiled, brushing the hair from her face and looking up at the moon. "But, you do have a right to worry. It'sperfect;y a;right.. It's an instinct. You should embrace it, and challenge it when needed.." she said, thinking of the close encounter. Ezalia turned into human form and helped hold Lian up. Lian wrapped her wings around her ribs once again, and to the world she seemed normal. But appearences deceive.

Aubrey stood as well, brushing seemingly invisible dirt off of his knees. "Well...perhaps this is goodbye...?" He said, his cheeks back to their normal pallor.

"Ah, don't fret Aubrey. We'll meet agin.. Fate assures it." she winked and set off at a good pace, leaning on Ezalia for support. "Goodbye!" she called over her shoulder.

Aubrey waved once, his grin showing off his two pointed eyeteeth, then rubbed the back of his dark-haired head and gracefully strode off in the oppisite direction.

(( Meep. I am inspired! ))
Lian ran, her large cloak billowing out behind her, at top speed. Behind her, a mutated demon with bloodly, curdled sheets for skin ran after her. Snaked crawled on his head for hair, and where his eyes were supposed to be, sat two empty holes filled with worms. He smiled, revealing large, rottten, black teeth. "You won't get away!" he cried, his voice high with delight. Lian swore. Why were there so many demons out suddenly? She wondered, firing blasts of purple light at the creature. The demon dodged, bloodlust taking over. His own blood left marks on the street, but it quickly evaporated like water on a hot stove.

A young man leaned against a nearby dumpster, watching Lian and the demon serenely. He was strange-looking, this man, with firey golden eyes that seemed to be burning with ardency and yet chilled with wisdom. His brown hair was arranged in a handomesly ruffled style, and his clothes seemed similar to those of a British school boy's uniform. "Hmm...need some help, dear Lian?" He asked boredly.

"Meh?" Lian asked, stopping in her tracks. She was out of brerath, which normally took alot of running. As in running all day or running 5 miles nonstop, or without flitting. She lifted a hand up in gratitude. "Yes, please." she panted. "Damn demons...They've been...chasing after...me all day!"

The golden-eyed young man smiled and procedded to disappear with a pleasant popping sound. He materialized in front of the horrific demon, his arms crossed over his chest. "My good sir, I suggest you stop if you value what you call your life." The boy said, in that same bored tone.
