Aubrey stopped ubruptly, placing a hand to his forehead. He let out a his of pain as a burning sensation surfaced in his brain, cooking his thoughts like sasuage.

(( Oooh... Whats happening to himm?  ?HUHHUHHUHIWANNAKNOOOOWWWWW!!!! *hyper mode* )) Lian swiveled around, chanting an odd language. A ball of energy formed in her hand, growing bigger by the minute. Her eyes flashed green as she scanned the area looking for lost sould, spirits, anything partially supernatural. Her ring pulsed brighter, untill it was lighting up almost the whole ruined city. |

Aubrey took a deep breath and managed to stagger over to a bench before falling to his knees. The burning pain in his head had grown enough so that it was nearly unbearable now. Aubrey's dark hair fell in front of his face, moving slightly with each haggard breath he took it.

Lian called out in a spirit-like voice to the soul. A small shadow, only to be seen because of er special vision, ran in the opposite direction of which they were first going. "After it!" called Lian, running as fast as she could. Her cloak billowed out behind her, letting part of her demonic wings show.

Aubrey groaned and slipped onto his back, his eyes shut tight. "Oh..." He moaned.
Soon...a voice whispered, seemingly in his ear. Soon, Aubrey, I'll come for you.
"Mmm...no!" The vampire whispered, baring his fangs at an invisible enemy.

(( Alright... Do-do-do-doodoododooodooo!! ))
Lian grabed her cloak as a strong gust ripped it off of her. Good thing this was the deserted- oh crap. The spirit had led her into the regular city. Fumbling, she slung the cloak on and ran off in the direction of the spirit. Her wings flapped a bit, but she forced them to stay still. Her now-green eyes followed its movements quickly, but now it was far ahead of her. Lian wondered if she could catch up. Quickening her jog to a run, she sped after the soul. Ezalia kept her pace with ease, being used to all this running.

Aubrey jammed a hand down the front of his black button-up dress shirt, bringing out what seemed to be...
A red & blue checkered tie.
He held this to his forehead, and the pain suddenly left, leaving Aubrey feeling frail and shaken. The boy sat up, dropping the tie so that it thumped against his broad chest.

Lian ran after the spirit, it getting farther and farther away.
"Dangit!" she growled, switching her eyes back to red as the spirit got away. Her ring had stopped pulsing. She removed her cloak, noticing all the lights in this part of the town were turned off, but being herself she could see well. Walking around the corner, she spotted Aubrey with a red and blue checkered tie on. She blinked, curious, and walked over. "Hey." she said, interupting the still town with a soft voice.

Aubrey jumped about 2 feet in the air, spinning around to look at the newcomer. When he saw it was Lian, he relaxed slightly, stuffing the faded tie back into his shirt. "Hello, Ma'm." he replied, his usually soft voice louder than usual.

"Are you alright?" she asked, walking up to him. "Very jumpy... What happened? Don't tell me nothing... Your aura is shaky." she said, letting her eyelids droop a bit. She was very tired from running around the whole city... The spirit pretty much led her in a big circle.
