Roleplaying Example: This was the perfect day. Rayne and her family had just finished visiting with family, and were on there way home. There was a slight drizzle, that Rayne loved. Afterall, being named after a storm made rain all the more exciting. With this enjoyable day, she thought nothing, nothing could go wrong. But little did she know, she could lose everything...
The car was running smoothly on the darkened road. There were barely any other cars out, and that was just wonderful. This road was dangerous, on account of the steepened cliffs, and no driver needed the stress of watching for traffic. With the radio playing softly, Rayne rested her head on the cool window, enjoying the cold air. With her eyes barely opened, she was taking in all of the landscape.
A sudden burst of movement caught her eye. An animal was running in the woods, right near the road!
"Dad! Look out! There's a deer heading straight for the ca-!" She was stopped from speaking, as her father swerved the small car out of the animal's way, and straight down a cliff.
Screams were all that could be heard. It could have been her screaming...but it was all too confusing. With a flash of light, Rayne's eyes closed, throwing into a deep, dark sleep.
Many hours later, a whispering woke Rayne up. Lifting her head, she could barely see a visible figure. A young male, a few years older than her, was standing near her. With a sharp intake of breath, Rayne scooted back, away from the boy.
"Stop... I'm not going to hurt you. I saved you." He pleaded.
"Hmm..." She mumbled, drowsy from sleep. "Saved me from what?" Rayne groaned, in intense pain. She raised her hand up, supporting her sore neck.
Pointing to what looked like a crumpled mass of metal, the boy replied, "That car. You're family was in there, and didn't make the fall."
Rayne let out a gasp. "What are you saying? My family? Who are you?"
"I'm Morgan, and as I said, they're dead. Like... you." Morgan said, lowering his eyes.
She pulled her hand back, and let out a scream. There was thick, blood running from her hand, down to her wrist. "Wha...Blood?" Her eyes rolled back, in disbelief.
"Yes. Blood. I had to. You were near death, and I saved you. You're immortal, Like I, and thousands of others. Welcome to the vampire race, Rayne"
