Thea took Jacques hand...his skin was burning hot, as if he suffered from a bad fever."Keep yourself covered with the jacket." She said, roughly pulling the boy from the couch. Thea shot out of the living room, towing Jacques. Once inside the hallway, she looked for a place to put him, where no sunlight would reach him. She could put him in a closet...but that would be a problem if it was too small for him. Her coat was still draped over the boy's head...but she knew that, even under the thick ,dark fabric, the sun still burned him.
Where? Not the kitchen, or my bedroom...wait! The blooding room!
That room had no windows...Jacques would be safe there.
"How are you doing, honey?" Thea asked over her shoulder as she ran towards the room...it was far away...would Jacques make it?

Jaqcues coughed. ''Thea..My legs hurt..I cant run any more.'' He said slwoing down. Dimitri who had been awoken by the noise shot out of his coffin and into the hall. ''Thea?! Jaqcues?!''He said alarm in is voice. He ran down the hall to find Jaqcues sitting on the ground. Dimitri bent down and picked him up. ''How long where you in the sun Jaqcues?!''He said carrying him. Jaqcues cluched his brothers bare skin and looked up at him. ''I dont know.''He mimbled crying.
Dimitri looked at Thea. ''How long Dea'? Do you know?''He said with a worried look on his face.

Thea was panicking...tears ran down her cheeks. She should have gone to check on Dimitri and Jacques before puttting up the grocires...it was her fault that poor Jacques was burning up.
"I...I don't know...I just found him a minute ago. Will he be alright?" She said anxiously.

Dimitri shook his head. ''Im not sure.''He said looking at Jaqcues. His once pale body was burnt and red. ''Only time will tell.. Lets get him into a dark room.''He said looking up. His long dark hair hung in his face covering his tear filled eyes.
Even though he didnt like to admit it, he loved Jaqcues. he hadnt seen any of his family for over 300 years, Jaqcues was it, without Jaqcues he wouldnt be able to go on.
Jaqcues mumbled something in French but Dimitir couldnt understand it. ''Your going to be ok Jaqcues, hang in there for me.''

Thea forced herself to think reasonably--she had a life on her hands.
"The closest one is the blooding room--a closet would doubtless be too small...we might just make it, if you keep Jacques covered." She took a deep breath and pointed down the hallway. Sunlight fell on the pale digit, reminding Thea how little time they had...it would soon be midday, and the sun would be brighteset then." But we need to get there fast."

Dimitri nodded and ran down the hall and down the staircase and right into the bloding room. He sat Jaqcues on the couch and handed him a cup of blood. ''Drink, it will help.''He said grabbing a cloth and wetting it with some water. He placed it on his forhead and looked at him through his long hair. ''You ok ?''He said brushing hair from Jaqcues' eyes.
Jaqcues sipped the blood. ''I hope.''

Thea dashed in a few seconds after Dimitri, firmly closing the door behind her. She frowned and placed a hand to her forehead.
She tottered over to where Jacques lay on the sofa and sat just behind his feet.
"Feeling better, Jacques?" She asked softly.

Jaqcues mumbled. ''I guess...my skin hurts..and it hurts to breathe..''He said coughing violently. Dimitri looked at him the tears still in his bright eyes. ''Your going to be ok Jaqcues, dont worry.'' He said smiling fro under his hair. ''It happens to all good vampires...'' He said remembering the day he had almsot died himself from the sun.
Dimitri walked silently down the hallway of the big building. He was going to goto the boat dock to get away from the old village he had lived in with his parents and brother. He hadnt realized that the sun was out still. He had gotten onto the boat and was sitting on the deck and fell asleep behind some ropes. The sun beat upon his sleeping figure frying his skin. He had almost died, he would have if Sir Yeerwood hadnt saved him.

Thea took Jacques' small hand gently in her hand, careful not to press too hard on the burnt skin.
"Exactly. You'll be fine, darling."She said, an encouraging smile creeping across her lips."You just need to rest for awhile...vampires are always quick to heal...right, Dimitri?"

Dimitri snapped from his flashback and looked up. ''Always.''He said remembering yet another close escape from death, when the wolfman had attacked him. Thea had saved him then. He looked at Jaqcues. He should have let him sleep in a caffin, even though much larger than need be. It could have saved him from this pain.'

Thea drew her feet up with her on the couch, resting her head on her knees. She closed her eyes...she hadn't slept for at least a day...and she was dead tired, with all the walking and running she had done.
"Mmm. I believe you were." She opened one eye to look at Dimitri,smiling, before closing it again nad wrapping her arms around her legs."We have eyes."

Dimitri shrugged. ''Something was in my eye. Forget it.''He said sitting back on the chair he was on. Jaqcues smiled. You were Dimitrious, I know it. your crazy Jaqcues. The sun must have fried your brain along wiht your skin. He replied.

While the two brother's mental argument raged on, Thea had her problems to think about.
For instance, why had the wind acted like that? This was the second time in so many hours that the element had come into contact with her, whispering words, wether she understood them or not, into her ears. She'd already discredited Dimitri's suggestion of it probably being a passing vampire/vampanzee that had saved her the day of her mother's murder--whatever had happened then was the same thing that had happened only a few minutes before.
How is it possible?
Thea raised her head."Dimitri...I need to talk to you. Alone." Her eyes were serious, the smile gone from her face.

Riki blinked, immeadiatly waking from her cat nap. Somthing was wrong...but what? She felt wind around her, and guessed if she followed it, it would lead her to the trouble. Wind always seemed to blow towards, not away, from trouble. She began running, her clothes still sopping wet. Her hair blung in damp strips to her face.

Dimitri looked up. ''Of course Dea'. Jaqcues, we will be right back. Sit tight.'' Jaqcues almost nodded, but the pain would kill him. He looked up at Dimitri with a look that said yes. Dimitri stood. ''Ok My Dea', we can come out here.''He said putting his hand out for her.
