Thea looked around, eyeing the lare array of gloves set before her--brown ones, striped ones, even a pair of sequin-studded ones. But really all she wanted was a pair of black leather gloves, with delicate silver buttons on the wrist, inlaid with pretty, shining roses. Thea smiled and tried them on; the fit perfectly and were exceedingly comfortable, so she left them on while she went to the petite section and grabbed a couple of plain white t-shirts and jeans, before returning to the cashier. She was a young woman, hardly older than Thea, who chewed gum lazily as she stuffed Thea's purchases in a large brown bag. The cashier looked at her customer oddly when told that Thea wanted to keep the gloves on, but took the hundred-dollar bill the other girl gave her. Thea waved at her as she left the store, and headed for the 24-hour grocery store. ((We-woo We-woo))

Dimitri slept in his coffin. No sounds came from the room. Jaqcues sighed on the floor of the room he was in. He couldnt sleep. He was to full of energy.

((Whirrrrrr)) Thea, with her shopping bag in hand, pushed on the door. The chime of bells above the entryway announced her arrival, making the young, swarthy cashier nearest raise his head from reading his book. "Hey." Thea said, nodding at the clerk, who waved at her before going back to his novel. Thea knew he was still watching her from under the curtain of dark hair that fell in front of his face, however. The other cashiers watched her walk past. She didn't let it bother her, and in a few seconds she was in the pickles/olives isle, placing jars of her favorite food in the bright red basket she had picked up along the way. Then, of course, she went to the butchery and picked out several patties of hamburger meat, along with three bags of buns, some ketchup and mustard, a bag of Lays, a case of root beer cans, and some Ramen. Nothing too strange---except the olives, but the clerk—a brunette girl with heavy make-up—didn't notice as she loaded Thea's bag. Thea gave her two twenties, this time, before leaving, the bells tinkling after her as she staggered back home, her new purchase weighing her down like two heavy weights.

Jaqcues sighed and sat up. The room was dark, he couldnt see anything. He stood carefully feeling his way to a door. It ended up opening into a hige room with windows. He shut the door almost as fast as he had opened it.

Thea arrived at the park gates, setting down her bagge before checking the time on her watch--9:50. The sun was already beating down on Thea's dark red hair, warming it and making it shine. People had already began to flock to the weeping willow where she had met Dimitri-- children played aith each other in the shade while their mothers sat nearby and chattered to one another. One of them, a petite woman with streaks of grey in her hair, waved at Thea. The girl waved back, smiling closed lipped as the memory of her father resurfaced. Would he be looking for her? Would he be worried? Would he-- Thea silenced these thoughts and moved even more quickly down the path to Dimitri's mansion. In the daylight it looked almost cheerful, it's windows shining like so many playful eyes. She opened the door and set the bags down, stretching her sore muscles.

Jaqcues tiptoed out of the room. ''Dimitri..''He called looking around. He couldnt sleep like that. He was used to sleping on cold hard ground. He needed to find some to et any good sleep.

Thea heard light footsteps in the hallway near her and immeaditly closed the door after her. Someone was here, for she knew it was quite strange for a vampire to wake up after falling asleep. She slid a hand inside her pocket and walked over to the hallway, poking her auburn head out and calling."Hello?"

Riki yawned, as she felt the sun rising. She pulled herself out of ht ewater, and waterlogged, her mind began to wander to Dimitri, Jaqcues, and the other woman. Maybe they weren't that bad...

Jaqcues looked up. Thea was home. He was still dressed, but what would she think if he was lurking around the house?!

The hallway was empty. Thea shook herhead, berating herself silently for her edginess--if that slayer girl had come back, Thea would have known. She knew she would've. Thea walked over to her purchases and hauled them over to the pantry. She put the olives and other dry food into it, then shelved the hamburger meat, ketchup, etc. in the fridge (I hope this house has one...). When that was done, Thea brought her new overcoat from the large brown bag and tried it on. [glow=green,2,300]((Bleh. I have to go to a band banquet in an hour or so...it's big, so I have to get all dressed up and stuff. Should be back at about 9:00, or 10:00, here. ))[/glow]

(Ok ^_^ ))
Jaqcues peeked into the kitchen. Thea hadnt noticed him yet. He walked past the kitchen and into the great hall. Then into on of the many living rooms. He sat on the big couch. He yawned, now he was tierd. The sun was coming through the windows, but he would be ok...

Thea smiled, looking out the window. Wouldn't it be nice to have some wind in here? The walked over to the window right next ro the table and opened it. Immeditly a gust of wind blew through the open window blowing Thea's red hair back. It whispered words into her ears--this time, the were in her own language. Jacques....Third door...living room...sun... Thea gasped, almost ripping the door off it's hinges as she sped out of the kitchen and to the living room were Jacques rested. The wind was right behind her, blowing encouragingly in her ear. She burst through the oak door to find the young vampire, bathed in sunlight, asleep. How long had been in there? She didn't know--she just had to get the boy away from the sun before it fried him. Thea swept her coat off her shoulders and draped it over Jacques, shielding him. "Wake up! Oh, Jacques, wake up!"
((Not sure when we'll leave...I think it starts at 6:00, in my time...))

Jaqcues mumbled. ''Ow..''He whispered. He opened his eyes and looked at Thea. His eyes were drained of color. ''Thea?''He said looking at himself. ''Wh..What happened?''

"What's happening, you mean. You're still in danger."Thea said, her voice light with fear."Here, give me your hand. Can you stand? We need to get you out of the sun."
((Gotta go!))
