Thea found the door of her apartment unlocked--surprising, for a man like her father. Or maybe he was waiting for her to show up so he could berate her. Either way, Thea placed a hand on the doorknob and pulled it open.
She stepped silently into the hallway. Her father's apartment was a lot plusher than most--so big it could almost be mistaken for a Beverly Hills hotel penthouse. Thea removed the remains of her hoodie and set it on an end table and walked sleepily over into the living room.
She hadn't been nearly quiet enough to not wake a tall, red-haired man, who had been sleeping on one of the beige sofas.
His eyes shot open--revealing irises of brown and whites blood-shot.
"Althea Eliza Mirrow, where in the world have you been?"

Dimitri had followed the note to 105 Park Square. He quietlly sat outside the door on the right side so as to be able to flee down the stairs if need be. He would probably just breathe into her fathers face and knock him out if anything. He chuckled at the thought.

"We--well, I've..."Thea struggled to find a suitable explanation."I've been out with friends...one of them passed out--don't worry, I wasn't drinking-- and I had to take care of them." It was as close to the truth as she could get.
Lucas Mirrow smoothed back his hair, unconvinced." Why didn't you call to tell me you'd be out all night?" He asked, genuine hurt in his eyes.
"I'm sorry...my friends house didn't have a phone..." Thea said, shuffling her feet.
"Well, don't think you've--" Her father stopped."Thea, do you hear something?"

Dimitri cussed in french under his breathe. He looked around. No where to hid really. He summoned up the cheeseiest lie he could think of and knocked on the door. '' Hellooo?''He said in his heaviest French accent he could muster. He would be a sight to see, but hey, it was for the woman he loved. He rummaged in his pockets, sure enough a Cirque Du Freak flyer was tucked in there. He unfolded it and held it in a hand waiting for the door to be answered.

Thea's father sighed."Probably one of the neighbors..." He grumbled."Well, It'd be rude not to answer, I guess."
He walked past her and down the hall to the door. For the first time Thea saw he was wearing nothing but boxer shorts and an undershirt. The shorts had little flying pigs on them."Don't think you're getting off the hook, Little Miss. You're still in deep trouble." He opened the door with a disatisfied grunt.
"Hello?"

Dimitri coughed. ''Hello Sia' Might I oblige you ta' See ma' hea' Cirque?''He said with his thick accent, thicker than usual at least. He handed him the flyer with directions and pictures of mr.Tall, The wolf man, and some other pictures.

Thea's mouth fell open. Over her father's shoulder, she mouthed:What the h*ll are you doing here?
Her father frowned and shook his head, oblivous to Thea's silent swearing behind him."Sorry, but I'm afraid my daughters outgrown circuses(sp?)..." He said glumly, perhaps sorry that his daughter was growing up too fast.

Dimitri shrugged lightly. ''My Sia' It tis not for little childyen. It vis for vones not the faint of hea't''He said pointing to the wolf man and howling. Dimitri held back laughter. He was talking like a fool, howling, and the poor guy was probably going to have a heart attack. ' Uh..Thea, do you hear me?' He said to her mind.

Thea almost had a heart attack herself.'Perfectly, but how? Why are you here? It's only 6 pm!'
"Well then, maybe I shouldn't let her see it--she is only seventeen..."He father mumbled. Behind him, Thea gave an exasperated sigh.

Dimitri couldnt help but smile. I was sitting out here! Your Fatha' here seems to have Vampiric hearing.. He said sarcastically. He nodded. ''Comme vous souhaitez à monsieur,Take zee flya in casze you change your mind.''He said taking a short bow.

Thea pretended to examine as her father nodded to Dimirti."Very well..." Lucas said, tugging at the hem of his undershirt.
'Oh, how sweet...a regular Cassanova you are, love.' A smile spread across Thea's face. She quickly replaced it with a noncommital scowl lest her father wonder why she was grinning like a fool.
"When does it begin?" Thea asked aloud.

Her father nodded tiredly."M'kay. Thank you. Goodbye." Thea's dad began to close the door.
"Wait!"Thea called, rushing to her father's side."Could we go, Daddy?" She only called her father 'Daddy' when she wanted something, Lucas knew."Pleaseeee?"
She gave Dimitri the smallest wink put her thoughts remained silent.
