Marie swept into the clearing by the pool, walking rather fast. it was midnight, right on the minute when she arrived. she thought that maybe some young stupid kids would be swimming when it was closed so that she could feed. she kept a goodlookout and stayed in shadow, blending it with it. she sat on a chair and waited for what might never come,but then she saw it. a small child. she had no concern for children. it seemeslost so she walked up to her and said, "Are you lost? or are you with someone?" the child responded, "im wost, can you hewp me go howme pwease?" "Of coarse i can, let me pick you up--" she lifted her up and with a swift movement, her sharp eye teeth bit deeply into her throat. the child gave a small scream, but it died away instantly. since the child was so small, she died...Marie pushed her aside,well out of the way of aprying eye. this was still all new to her, she was just blooded about two weeks abo, by her father.
