''Should I listen...? Why? Do I really? Is it just the way he looked at me for the first time? What is it?'' She murmured, her words muffled from the jeans. She started to think deeply about what he looked like and how he saved her when they met. She thought of when he allowed her into his house and she probably couldn't forget about when she hugged him accidentaly or the look in those dark eyes and that cold smirk. No, nothing she could forget...she had feelings for Issamu. ''Can I really? I'm not sure....this feeling is the same as when I met my high school love, but it couldn't last and I'm afraid of it ever happening again.'' She closed her eyes and held her elbows with the oppisite hand, holding her knee's straight and together.

Clutching at his arm, Issamu paced around the room. No! he howled, startling Kana. No! I cant have feelings.. I cant.. He whimpered, sinking into the couch. His heart felt heavy-- heavy of regret, sorrow, and a strange feeling he knew but would not admit was there. Love... Sighing, Issamu whimpered again. Why me? Why did Lin have to die.. It would have been so much easier if she hadn't.. He closed his eyes, trying to picture his lost love. Images of Setsu flashed. He opened them, staring at the clock. It was 4:50, the sun would be up soon. Maybe he should go tell Setsu? No, there was a clock upstairs. He knew she would find it. Letting his thoughts drift to the past, Issamu closed his eyes, drifting into a light, troubled sleep.

Setsu sighed, she wanted to see what Kek was up to, she held her breath for a minute then decided she would go downstairs. Taking very light steps with full grace she slid down to the living room. ''Issamu? You down here?'' She said hold her arms together, crossed just below her upper chest. She held her breath silently again and closed her eyes for a second. She finished down the steps and sat down beside Issamu on the couch. She coughed lightly from the uncomfort. ''Um....are you....feeling arlight?'' She asked gulping the lump the was stuck in her throat. She needed to know what his thoughts were, she was the impatient type. ''I mean um...what....do you, honestly think of me?'' She asked, her cheeks turning a bright red with blush. She held back the fear from talking infront of him but she said it. She ran the last few words together hoping he almost wouldn't hear for fear he never thought twice of liking her.

Issamu blinked, almost jumping off of the couch when he heard her voice. "Oh Setsu..It's you..." he said, blushing. "You said something..?"

Setsu sighed, she would have to go through the trouble saying those words again. ''Um....'' She sighed, forget it....he probably hates me!! ''Well....um....I..uh...'' She was at loss of words, she had no cover for what she had said earlier, she would have to just repeat herself, nothing else to say. ''Um....are you..uh....do....do you um....wh-what do thinkofme?'' She said quickly holding her breath, she really hoped he didn't hear that.

((Hehe, nice siggy!! Lol, at first I saw the chibi things at a split-second look, and was like, WTF? Why is Yami Bakura...Oh wait, it's Ryou.. Duh..))
Issamu blushed a bit, biting his lip. Words flowed to his tounge, but his mouth held them in place and wouldn't let go. At a loss for words, he muttered,
"Well, I think you're a..very nice girl..and..." his face turned a light apple-red.

Setsu sighed, he heard it alright. She bit her lip, causing it to bleed. She wanted to cry and run away from him, but she couldn't move. She sat there paralyzed only listening to thier soft breathing. Her cheek were about as red as his and she closed her eyes, turning away from him. She couldn't take the pressure of looking at him. ''Go ahead. Say how you don't like me and my personality and you don't want to see me again, then kick me out of your house.'' She sighed, it just seemed like a thing he would've done because of her words. She felt so selfish and still didn't look at him after a long silence.

"No, Setsu, I don't think that." Issamu said, his eyes casting downward. He silently begged Lin for forgiveness as he took Setsu's hands in his own. "I...I love you Setsu." he bit his lip, and waveringly raised his eyes to meet hers. He wiped the blood from her lip. "I...really do." His green eyes shone with compassion and something that no one had seen in them for over 100 years, love. He sighed suddenly, casting his eyes towards the floor. "You must think I'm a real nutcase, huh. We only just met and here I am telling you I love you."

''Of course not, I was the one who asked the question in the first place.'' She stopped biting her lip and her eyes squinted. Setsu couldn't take it any loger, she stared at Issamu's eyes for a short moment of silence. Breaking the silence she burst into overwhelming tears and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. Those words meant so much to her and she cried on his shoulder thanking him for those words inbetween chokes of tears. ''Issamu, th-thank you.'' She said, her eyes burning up and her shoulders trembling.

Issamu went stiff for a moment, not used to this. But after a few seconds, he relaxed and embraced Setsu in a tight hug. "It's alright." he sighed, the words for her comfort and his own. Kana barked joyously as the pup, now a litle bit larger as he was a growing wolf, jumped on the couch and gave Setsu a big, wet kiss on the cheek. He yipped a bit, before laying down. Setsu ignored Kana as more tears fell from her cheeks. She choked on more tears as they slowed from her eyes. ''I...I love you too, Issamu....I really do.'' She still held close to him, her shoulder still trebling and her breathing not as heavy. Her body tightened from falling limp to his shoulders and she tightened her amrs around his chest, hugging him close. ''Thankyou, Issamu, thankyou.'' She whispered, her chin on his shoulder.

Issamu closed his eyes, and for a split second reality was swept away and he was with Lin again. He blinked sorrowfly as the image faded back to reality, but in Lin's place was Setsu. This is reality.. Lin is dead. Setsu is alive.. Issamu hugged her close as he faced reality. Lin would forgive him, because this was true love. She would want him to move on.

Setsu looked up to Issamu, her face nearly inches away from his. ''Issamu, you really...? Y-you mean it?'' A last couple of tears fell and her crimson lips curve up slightly. She couldn't believe she was actually in the position that she was, she was in love. Even if her lost love had gone, she knew he watched somewhere, and accepted her love. Her eyes glittered, a dark sapphire.

Setsu smiled even more, hearing the words that came from his lips made her smile more and more. She hugged him again, laying her head back on his shoulder. ''I'm glad...'' She smiled, whispering.
