Issamu yawned, as it was 6:00 pm, and he was bored. Kana was asleep on the rug, after having a large meal of beef.
"Hey Kana. Wanna play fetch?" he asked, nudging the wolf pup. Kana stirred and growled. "Fine. No fetch then." he growled back. "Lazy thing." He yawned again and got up to stretch his legs. Walking around the house, he stared out the window. Fresh snow was falling. He sighed, and stuck a hand in his pocket. He wore an outfit not much different than yesterday's. Torn jeans, and a black t-shirt. The sun was out, but close to setting. He closed the blinds on the window and went back downstairs.

Setsuko walked along the sidewalk beside houses muttering to herself. ''Jeez, Why am I out here again? Oh yeah! There is slayers taking over my house and my brother is running away with my best friend!'' Her skin was dark red and almost ready peel. Her arms crossed over her chest tightly her nails clawing into her own red skin. It was a little painful but she had ignored it. Her back was almost completely bare. She wore a simple black top that cut in a low v-neck in the front and nothing but a black strap at the bottom of her back. She wore a simple pair of light bleach washed jeans and some black staletoe heels. Braclets clanged on her wrist as she took each step, and for the firste time in a long time she had her hair up in a clip. Her neck was beat red along with her shoulders. ''ugh...stupid brother.'' She sighed continuing to walk.

Kan barked lethargically and thumped his tail. Issamu...he yawned. Setsu's here....
"I hear her Kana..." he said. Opening the door a peek with his black umbrella up, he walked outside, only to be greeted by a red and burnt Sestu. "He...llo?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. "You look fried." he said, as Kana stretched and ran out the door. He barked and threw himself at the burning girl. Issamu grabbed him by the scruff before he got to her, though. "Kana, be considerate. She's burnt." He stood up and looked at Setsu. "So.. Are you going somewhere?" he asked, eyeing her fancy garb.

''Well, its a long story...but yes I was.'' She tried to smile. ''Just headed out a little too soon.'' She sighed. ''Hello, Kana. How've you been?" She grinned and scratched the pup's head. ''So, is this your house?'' She looked up searching the outside of the house. ''Its very pretty.''

Ask her to some iiinnn!!! bakred Kana.
"Would you like to come in?" he asked. "Those burns look bad.." he said, eyeing her. Why was she burned so bad..? Oh, duh. She was a vampire. The thought hit him, and he now felt dumb for not figuring it out earlier. He opened the door, revealing his rather anitque house. He didn't bother tellling her he was also a vampire, he was sure the girl was smart enough to figure it out on her own. "So.. Why'd you leave early?"

''Well, I couldn't really get any sleep earlier so, I decided to head out later to go to a bar or something like that. Well, while I was getting ready slayers came by my house and decided to take over my apartment. My brother of course ran off with his girlfriend Hathor the freak he is, and left me outside alone. The bar doesn't even open for another hour and I've been outside for almost an hour already. I'm gonna die.'' She sighed after explaining that all. ''I really have no where else to go other than stay outside so yeah.'' Walking inside she shut the door behind her. ''Oh, and the burn isn't really that bad, its only starting to peel..'' She smiled taking her hands out of the position from before.

Issamu sighed.
"You can stay here. You'll be better by tomorrow.." he said, Kana yipping happily. He sighed, closing he umbrella. Snow fell off of it and onto Kana. He yipped as some came onto his nose, and shook it off. "I have a spare room upstairs. Come on." he motioned her to follow him up the stairs. Issamu brought her to a small yet cozy room- a double bed with a velvet canopy, a dark oak wardrobe, and a full-length mirror. A small bathroom was accecable only by the room.

''Its beautiful, Issamu. Thankyou, you're being so kind.'' Setsu smiled slightly, the tips of her mouth curved up. ''Why aer you doing all this for me anyway? You just met me yesterday, and you seem like your the kind of person who doesn't do things like this.'' Her head tilted as a piece of hair brushed the top of her blood-red shoulder.

Kana barked happily.
Mee! It was meee! he barked, throwing himself at Setsu again. Once again, Issamu grabbed him byt he scruff and hauled him up next to his face.
"Blame the dog.." he sighed. "And, I suppose I should look out for you fellow vampires.. With the war coming and all, we need as many as we can get."

''Yes.'' Sestu sighed. ''Hey, can Kana stay here for a little while? I'll be fine..I'm sure he won't hurt me that bad, just playing.'' Her head tiltled as she pushed one hand behind her on the bed she was now sitting on, the other hand holding a tight grip on her elbow. Her legs crossed and she smiled not noticing the burn on her skin at the moment, but in a slight daze.
((guess who made #7 on the top ten for the beat bubbles game on ijji?))

Darn it wolf! Don't kill her while playing.. She's not like us, got it? We need all the vampires we can get...
Yuppers Issamu! I shall take good care of her!@ And I know shes not like us, but she can still take a few bites, right..? Kana added. Issamu sighed and shot a glance at the wolf.
Whatever. He looked to Setsu. "Be careful.. Kana has sharp puppy teeth still.

''Its alright, I've been through worse.'' She smiled. ''Oh, and Issamu..'' She paused for a moment before continuing her words. ''Thankyou.'' She said biting her lip. ''This really mens alot to me, letting me stay here.'' She blinked a few times getting out of that part of her mind and giggled looking at Kana.

Issamu nodded, a scowl on his face from the giggling, and turned to leave. Before he did though, he added one last thing.
"There are clothes in the wardrobe that may fit you." he said without turning around. The clothes were those of his love, the one who died so terribly. He stifened and walked away. Inside the oak wardrobe there were beautiful outfits, many a deep blue or green. A few silk nightgowns hung, a bit dusty from age, yet still beautiful.

''Thankyou.'' She bit her lip not moving from her position. After Issamu left the room she stood up and walked over to the wardrobe. ''Wow, this is such beautiful stuff.'' Her eyes gleamed as she stared in awe at the clothes. She did have a thing for fashion after all.
((Ugh! No thoughts...I finished my gravitation book and now I'm continuing .hack//AI Buster! Yay, I made a new racord for reading books. It only took me two days to finish of the yaoi novel...sweet..you know I could never do that before and pay any attention to what they were saying. Oh, and at the rec we need to talk about Akana and Alice..hey I remembered the names! We might see Mary and Stormy there too.))

Issamu sighed as he sunk into the old couch downstairs. He rested his hand on the armrest, and blinked slightly as he remembered his girlfriend and her clothes... She had a wonderful fashion sense, and he loved her happiness as she brought home new outfits. With a small smile, he remembered when they first met. He scowled suddenl as he thought of some random person he just met yesterday wearing them, though he was a bit curious how they looked on her.
~Up in the room~
Kana barked as she looked in the closet, then gave a small whine as he looked at a large painting next to the door. It had a petiet looking woman in it, with long raven hair and pale skin. Her eyes were a captivating blue, and her dress was a blood red and simple, with simple halter-style straps. The woman was sitting in a simple dark oak dining chair, and her arm was outstretched with a raven perched on her wrist.
