Meier sighed. ''Ill release you for now.'' He said flicking his wrist. ''Ok...well....there are a few things going on with our humans blood. We urge you not to drink hospital blood any more and only from a living person. A new disease has appeared in many humans, we dont have much information, but it is not kind on the Vampire anatomy. You get what we have named 'Black Cough'. Then some get 'Red Cough'. Another thing you may want to know.....is a rather dangerous group of , thus far proving to be unstopable, slayers have slaughtered many of the Vampires and also Vampaneze in our city, and farther out. So just watch for them.'' He stopped to look at the device he had been carrying. ''Mmm...also the Annual Vampire Festival is approaching, you are urged to head up to the Mountain in the very near future to catch it. Remember the rules to getting to the Mountain....no shoesm or flitting for the full Vampires.'' He said nodding.
Dimitri cleared his throat. ''The war.....what about it?'' He asked.
Lauri and Linde both began to protest Dimitri doing anything like that but he hushed them by throwing a shoe at Linde.

Julian sighed in relief as cool air rushed to her burned wrists. She mumbled something before sitting down in a chair backwards, so she could face Meier.
Thea nodded, taking in the news. She twitched slightly when Dimitri asked about the war, but said nothing--she'd talk him out of (or force him not to) joining the army.
Jack sat down on the floor next to Julian, indian-style.

Meier nodded. ''Well....the war is thought to happen soon between the Vampaneze and us....the reason is unknown to us at this time. But we dont want to be caught with our pants down.'' He said smiling at his joke. ''Why...would you like to put your name on the list.'' He asked.
Dimitri sighed and bit the inside of his cheek. ''Well...'' He said feeling a bit less drossy from the drug. ''I suppose so.'' He said.
Lauri and Linde both stood up. ''NO'' They said together.

Thea turned to Dimitri, her hazel eyes narrowed. Dimitrious Leston Victors, you will not join the army while I am living—it would be too dangerous, especially with your disease. She said in his mind, her usually soft voice hard as steel.
Julian gagged slightly. "I say…don't you know what's happened to darling Dimitri? In a few months or so he'll be in no shape to fight…or much anything else, save breathe, mayhap."
Jack looked at her, fear in his deep blue eyes—was Julian prophesizing?

Dimitri cringed. Mmm...fine. For you love, He said.
Meier straightened. ''Mmm yes....unless this event occurs...then he will be fine...but I am not aloud to interfier with the future...so I wont say what. But it is wise you dont Dimitrious.'' The Noble said looking at his device.
Dimitri sighed. ''Yes, yes I know.'' He said rubbing his forhead.
Linde and Lauri both gaped at this. ''He's going...to...to die....'' Lauri said quietlly.
Linde shook his head. ''Y-you...have...a disease.....and...d-didnt tell us...?'' He said. Dimitri looked at them both from the ground and nodded. ''Yes.''

Julian nodded. "I am able to interfer with certain people's future, and I plan to make sure things go as predained(sp?)...unless of course, they end in Dimitri dying. But I won't bore you with the fine details of my job...don't you have somewhere to be, Link?"
Thea's expression softened. Thank you, Dimitri...
Jack twitched ever so slightly. "Maybe he didn't want you two to worry..."

Meier raised an eyebrow. ''Someone has been naughty hmmm Julian?'' He said pocketing his device. ''Well then. I expect to find your aura at the Mountain soon. Goodday.'' He said as he vanished.
Dimitri sighed. ''Hate nobles.''He said with a shiver.
Lauri and Linde both sat in silence.

Jack shivered. "As do I..."
Thea twitched. "That was...strange. Jules, how are your wrists."

Julian's smile didn't fade, but there was a definite air of steeliness about it."Do it and my Masters will have your head." She said, her voice higher than usual.
Jack blanched, and Thea shook her head.

Julian still didn't lose her smile, but Jack was steadily turning the color of a cooked hot dog. "I'm not your 'love', Link, and if you so much as lay a hand on my bottom I'll report you."

Meier chuckling grew softer. ''Farwell...'' He said his voice nothing but a soft whisper. He had already gone quiet a few blocks.
Dimitri grumbled and rubbed his lower arm where the syringe had gone in. ''That thing had to have been.....at least six inches long!!'' He growled.
Lauri laughed. ''Because, we were supposed to poke you in the bum with it. Like they did way back when they first started medicine.'' he said. ''We wanted to make good memories come back...''
'' IDIOTS! I HAVENT BEEN TO A HOSPITAL IN 320 YEARS!'' Dimitri yelled glarring at them.
