Thea blinked, startled, then smiled again and gave the wolf a kiss on the furry head.
Lily reached forward and rubbed Jacques' head. "Good to have you back, little man." She said. "But DImitri's right--we really should get going."
Maryjane twirled slightly, a big grin on her face.

Jaqcues nodded and jumped away from Thea and picked up his clothes. Ready. He said holding them in his mouth until he turned back. It was the first time he had turned without wanting to, so he didnt know when he would turn back.
Dimitri nodded. ''Okay then.'' he said picking the bag up and walking again. Silas isghed. ''Alright, lets go.'' He said to Maryjane and began to walk again. Silas fell in step beside Silas missing the company of his friend. His black and whitw wing folded neatly on his back as he walked.

Nicholas sighed from his perch on a nearby rock, before turning into a cardinal and landing on Maryjane's shoulder. "Come on, then." He said, his deep human voice coming out of his tiny bird throat as easily as if he had been in his regular form. Maryjane rolled her eyes and walked after Silas and Jacques, her nose hot pink from the cold by now.
Thea and Lily looked at each other before smiling and following the rest of the group.

Silas looked down at Jaqcues. '' So, how was the Paradise...? '' He asked looking back up. Jaqcues sighed. It was very nice, it reminded me alot of home, but I was talking to a Vampiress there...and she said it looked different to her...so somehow its different for everyone. Although she could see the same people.
Dimitri sighed up ahead and rubbed a hand ovr his face. He could feel his skin getting redder from the sun. They had been walking for a good hour and a half already. He was starting to get headaches now though, so that asnt a very good sign. He wasnt worried about Jaqcues however, his fur for the meantime would protect him.

Maryjane looked up at the sky, while Nicholas whistled "Ode to Joy" through his beak.
Thea was still smiling, enjoying the trip.
Lily, however, was lost in thought, thinking about the dream Dimitri had roused her from.

Jaqcues nodded. His ears pricked up as he heard howling in the distance. Wolves lived all around the Mountain, due to all the food Vampires didnt eat was thrown out, and because some say Vampires evolved from Wolves, although its just a myth.
Silas studied Dimitri's rather hunched over form. He looked like he was in some amount of pain. He didnt say anything but kept his eye on him.
Dimitri cringed as he touched his face again. They really needed to get out of the sun,. he didnt know how much more he could take.

Nicholas stopped whistling, looking up at DImitri with his feather-eyebrows raised. "Thea." He called, and the girl looked up. "Yes?"
Nicholas nodded at Dimitri, and Thea's eyes widened as she saw him hunched over. She immeaditly left Lily's side and went over to his. "Dimitri, are you alright? Do you need to rest?"
Lily sped up a bit, her face worried, while Maryjane bit her lip anxiously.

Dimitri looked up at Thea. His pale face was red and his eyes where glazed over in pain. ''Just some...woah...'' he said as everything spun for a moment. ''Shade..'' He ended as everything stopped spinning.
Jaqcues trotted up to his brothers side. Brother, are you okay? Do you need Silas to heal you? He asked his furry head nudging his brothers gloved hand.

Nicholas sighed and glided off of Maryjane's shoulder. "You owe me, Victors." He said, then turned back into a human...or, something that resembled a human.
He raised his hand, palm up and fingers curled. Oak trees sprang from the ground, making a path of blissful shade. "Hurry, then. They'll disappear once you pass them, so I suggest you get to next rest stop pronto."
Maryjane gaped. Was there no end to the miracles she would see?
Thea nodded, her face pale. "Dimitri, can you walk?"
Lily pressed her fist against her mouth: a nervous habit.

Dimitri nodded. ''Yes...Jaqcues...nearest rest stop...how long would you guess...'' He asked. Jaqcues sighed. Flitting time, three minutes, flying time, five minutes, running time, twenty minutes, walking time, one hour. He said looking up.
Silas nodded. ''Well...from what I've heard we arent aloud to flit...so flying...?'' He asked. ''Or shall we just transport ourselves there with a snap of my fingers?'' he asked.
Jaqcues shook his ehad. We cant. As in Dimitri Thea and I....Its against tradition to do anything but run, walk or crawl your way up the mountain. No cars, no flying, no flitting. He said bobbing his head as he walked.

Nicholas sniggered. "I thought you of all people would know that, Silas." He said, "I think Dimitri's in no condition to run, so I believe walking it is."
Thea nodded and took Dimitri's arm.
Lily dropped her hand and shuffled over to Nicholas' side, Maryjane right behind her.

Silas shrugged. ''Well, I figure that sometimes you have to break the rules.'' He said with a sly smile.
Dimitri grunted at this and shook his head as they walked onward. Jaqcues trotted behind them and another 'oomph' happened and in a moment he was back by Dimitri's side in human form. ''Heh...I hate when that happens..'' he said. He walked around the two Vampires and stretched his wings wide blocking out any sun the trees didnt already get.

As the party walked, the last tree shrank back into the ground. As soon as Lily and Maryjane, the last people in line, past a tree, it vanished.
Thea bit her lip, watching this. How powerful was[/i[ Nicholas, really?

Jaqcues kept his wings open shielding Dimitri and Thea from most of the sun. His back however was being burned, but he didnt mind, he hadnt been in the sun as long as his brother.
Silas hummed to himself as thy walked. His red eyes were searching the mountain ahead. It sure was big, he had expected this coming from the Vampires. Dimitri sighed as the walked. He could feel nothing but the pounding of his headache. Hopefully they would get to the first rest area soon.

Nicholas sighed again, and shoved his hands into the pockets of his death black waistcoat. "Any smart vampire wouldn't have gone out until was only 30 minutes away, at most." He grumbled, but a wicked smile was on his face.
Thea slid her hand up to Dimitri' shoulder, in an attempt to comfort him.
Maryjane trotted at Lily side, abnormally quiet for one her age. Lily, too, was quiet, having gone back to her previous thoughts.
