Karsten smiled a small, pressed smile as his body was over taken in coughs. He curled inwardly as he coughed more. His arms wrapped tightly around his stomach as if they could hold him togther as the reaper paid his visit.

Lily went paper-pale and she, too, wrapped her arms around Karsten. She sang to him quietly in a language he could not understand, her voice trembling hugely.

Karsten coughed a bit more before his body grew still. His red eyes slid shut slowly, and his breathing ceased as the last ounces of life dripped from him. Leaving him dead in Lily's arms.

Lily felt a part of her shrivel up and die the moment Karsten did. She herself choked, holding onto the dead Prince's corpse as if it were a life preserver. "K...karsten...?" She whispered.

Karsten did not respond only his body remained. However, before his soul departed he left Lily with a peace at mind.
I will always love you petal, and I will watch over you...please, love again and move on...goodbye my Lily, I will wait for you in death. His voice whispered in her ear before his prescence vanished.

There was a dull crack and Julian appeared next to the bed. She looked considerably haggard, as if she had not slept much lately. The guardian looked at Karsten, whom Lily had laid out on the bed with his hands resting on his unmoving chest. "Ah...so the old boy's dead? Very, well...I'll take him back to his people. Do you want to come as well?"
Lily, her green eyes hollow, nodded solemnly, not ready to speak yet.

Karsten watched along with the rest of the Prince's past. ''Oh, its a pity you died this way..'' Said one of the Prince's, Fabian to be exact. ''Hush.'' Karsten said waving a hand.

At the mountain Alex sat quietlly on a bench in the Khurda Lurt. ''Hmm..''She murmered.

Julian nodded at Lily and, with a single snap of her fingers, the two women and Karsten's corpse appeared in the Hall.
Oliver, sat at a table not to far from Alex, slurping a bowl of brownish soup. He had recently gone into recluse mode, meaning that he only came out when called...if he needed food. He had bags under his eyes, and his fingers were clumsy with his spoon and cup.
He was only half-way through when his daughter and friend, Karsten in tow, appeared on the floor beside him.
The Bookworm Prince turned, his face turning chalk-white when he saw the obviously dead Karsten and the distraught Lily.

Alex looked up and gasped. ''P-p-prince...''She didnt finish her sentence before she felt hot tears in her usually emotionless eyes. She had loved both her Prince's and admired them. It was shocking that someone as strong as Karsten had died. Then the thought struck her why they had held trials, it was because they knew he was dieing.

Oliver knelt next to his old friend, his hand flying to his forehead. Flames, Oliver, you silly chap! You knew this was to happen, so pull yourself together! The remaining Prince placed a hand on Lily's shoulder, and the earth child let herself be pulled into his fatherly embrace.
Julian looked at the other Vampires in the Hall, her silver eyes cool.

Alexandra swallowed hard and watched from her seat in sorrow. It was going to be hard going without him for a while. She would miss his demanding tone and military like personality.

Oliver stood, bringing his daughter with him. He cleared his throat, looking at the other Vampires. "As you may have seen, Prince Karsten has perished due to the Black Cough. A cermony will...will be held soon." The Prince started to stutter, but caught himself.

Alex bowed her head then looked up making the death sign. ''May you be triumphant even in death, as you were in life.''She said.
Suddenly, Karsten's dark haired brother appeared sitting next to the dead man. ''Oh lookie here! He has finally died.'' Korvin said. Many gasped, for they all knew of the evil the man brought with him.

Julian hissed at Korvin, stepping in front of Lily and Oliver. "Begone, wretch. You are not wanted here, or anywhere." She growled at him.
Lily buried her face in Oliver's shoulder, and the Prince simply looked at Korvin with mild disgust.

Korvin made a tsking sound. ''Now now, dirty guardian. He was my sickly brother. Nothing more than a common Vampire....I have the right to bid him to his nasty little after life.''He said looking boredly at Julian.
Alexandra had stood up by now and grabbed a dagger from a bystanding Vampire, aiming it at Korvin carefully.
''Throw it and you will regret it.'' He said pointing a finger at her.
