Kek twitched slightly then looked away from Hathor sinking into the back of the couch. ''All the same those Vampires.. He muttered to himself quietlly.
Hathor shook her head slowly and nodded. ''This is so exciting...'' She said cheerily. She had always spent new years alone and usually sleeping. Kek wasnt one to celebrate any of the holidays.

''Kek...there was no need for that. We can all understand you.'' Earlier Khensu had found out that all of them could speak Egyptian. He looked at Kek and shook his head. ''Don't get on my bad side for the rest of the night...you don't want that.'' He sighed and sat down giving him a kiss on the cheek. He walked to the kitchen and got out the bottle of wine, he stood there for a minute and looked at the clock. ''Only five minutes left, Kek.'' He whispered with a sighed flowing from his lips, the last year had gone so quickly for him, but the end of the year went especially quick, when he was with Kek...time seemed to fly by.

Kek nodded and sat quietlly. He was nervous now. He could feel his heart going faster and he didnt know if he should go through with it. He mentally smacked himself, he was going to do it. If Khensu decline, so be it, and if not, then it would be wonderful. He swallowed the lump forming in his throught and glanced at a clock on the wall.

Hathor sighed with a slight smile playing over her lips. Her eyes were sparkling with happiness....possibly one of the few moments she was happy were when she was with Bashlyn. He always brought a smile to her face. ''Oh...'' She murmered as she recieve a sharp kick from the baby. She rubbed away the pain and sighed.

Khensu smiled and looked over to the tv from the cut out hole in the wall. He sighed and waited for the last moment to come. Two minutes left.
Bashlyn looked over to Hathor and rubbed her stomache lightly, there was a part of her stomache that was very hard, the baby's head. He smiled and continued to comfort her and relax her stomache. ''We'll take you to see a doctor tomorrow or something.'' He smiled, 1 minute and thirty seconds left.
Khensu walked back out to the living room and was a couple feet away from the couch, watching the tv from afar. ''Almost the next year.'' He looked up to the walls and set down his glass on a near counter. ''Almost there.'' He smiled after a pause. He thought of his memories through the year, mostly the recent ones with his lover, Kek. He would never forget when they met and fell in love.

Kek stood and went to where Khensu was. His smile couldnt have been bigger if he wanted it to be. His sharp fangs where clearly seen. His hand was on his pocket getting ready for the moment of truth.
Hathor giggled. ''Oh oh!! Five!! Four!!'' She said strating te countdown that was on the tv. She smiled over at Bashlyn getting closer to him.

Khnesu looked over to Kek with a questionable look on his face. ''Kek..?'' He whispered, he was smiling alot, that meant something was on his mind.
Bashlyn smiled, ''Three!!'' He yelled the count down with her with a smile covering his face.

Kek smiled wider, if it was even possible. Hathor clapped as she shouted. ''Two!! One!!'' She said happily. ''Happy New years!!'' She giggled hugging Bashlyn.
Kek, instead of rejoicing about the new year bent down on one knee next to Khensu holding his hand. He produced the box from his pocket. ''Khensu...will you marry me?'' He asked looking up at the man. His heart felt like it was about to pop out of his chest, and the butterflies that had been in his stomach had turned to wasps.

Khensu gasped unable to think for a long moment of silence. He didn't know what to think let alone what to say. His mind paused and he smiled after a while. ''Yes, I will.'' He grasped Kek's body, tears streaming down his face. ''Kek, I love you.'' He cried holding to Kek as if he were holding onto life itself. He knew for sure that they would never betray one another, this was a sign on their love and passion. He kissed Kek cheek and cried more, still unable to let his mind catch up with the moment, it all happened so fast, how did he have the time to get him the ring in the first place, he asked himself.
Bashlyn smiled and hugged Hathor, it was a new year to start off with. ''Its a new year. 12:01.'' He smiled.

Kek smiled and put the engagement band on Khensu's hand. He kissed his cheek and hugged him close. ''I love you too.'' he said happily. He had said yes! They were going to get married, then thy would forever be connected until they died.
Hathor smiled and leaned closer to Bashlyn. She placed her lips on his for a small kiss. Her heart was pounding in her chest from excitment and the baby was kicking more now. As if it had four legs...

Khensu smiled, a gold band wrapped tightly around his finger. He kissed Kek passionatly, forgetting the scene around and the people around them, he couldn't have felt happier. His arms still clung to Kek, leaning toawrds him lightly.
Bashlyn returned her kiss passionatly and then looked at her, he had felt the kicks also. ''Darling, did I feel four kicks at the same time or was it just that the baby kicks so much and fast that you can't tell?'' He thought for a long moment, what if they had wins instead of just a girl or just a boy?

Kek smiled and kicked him. Then beat his head with a bat. He kicked Khensu's ass then killed him and threw his body into a deep well.

Khensu smiled and sighed happily, he liked the way that Kek said that Khensu was his. "Kek...I love you too...thankyou so much...you couldn't make me happier than this.'' He smiled, there was only one other thing that normally made him happy almost as much as this....it didn't seem like that would be a good idea after all of the excitement and romance...to just change it all to pure passion. He kissed Kek again, not letting go of his lover at all.
Bashlyn looked at her pained facial expression. ''Darling...you'll be fine...I'll be with you the whole time...and to think what it would be like if we did have twins? How amazing to have two children with us. Besides, I don't think anything could kick that fast in the world....not even your father over there.'' He said with a smile, he held her hand tightly and sighed. ''You'll be fine I swear it.'' He said after a short moment of silence.

Hathor gave weak smile and nodded swallowing the had lump growin g in er throat. ''You better not leave Baslyn.'' She whispered softly hugging him again. This time the babies didnt kick her and she was free to stay lose to her boyfriend.

Khensu sighed and looked up at Kek. ''Now Kek, why would I say no to something like that? You know I love you more than anything in the world, honestly...I love you way too much to say no.'' He smiled hugging Kek tightly around the lower waist. ''I couldn't even say it if I tried, to look at those eyes and that face and say no to it....its a sin.'' He said, the palm of his hands brushing his cheek to the neck and held his hand there for a long moment.
Bashlyn smiled, ''I would never do such a horrible thing to you, my love.'' He said kissing Hathor again. ''I'll stay with you until the end, trust me.'' He said, hugging her waist and rubbed her stomache to soothe her from the now uneasy thought of twins.
