The man's golden eyes flickered to the woman's face, then back to the page. "Aye...Garfield. I have a thing for cats, you see." he said, smiling a bit more.

"I go by the name of Finn." He replied, looking at her over the top of his newspapaper. "If I maybe be so bold as to inquire...why were you angry a few minutes ago? The cashier is a reasonable man. If you had just...nevermind."

Christina shrugged. ''Well, I was venting, it wasnt the poor mans fault...'' She said giving a slight smile. ''I just havent been having a good week.'' She replied.

Finn smiled, nodding. "That is understandable. I haven't been having a good week either...it's just that I wander, not assualt people with cleaning products." He gave a small laugh, and held a hand to his mouth as if to cover it.

Finn shrugged, blowing a lock of blonde hair out of his eye. "Perhaps he did...but at least he has a bang-up story to tell his wife tonight." He said, setting his paper down on his lap.

Finn shrugged. "Well, that's exactly why my wandering is bad. People think I'm insane, of all things." He leaned back against the bench, his head resting on the top of it, his eyes closed, and his white throat bared. "Hmph...haven't had much sleep either this week." He grumbled.

Christina nodded, but she hadnt heard him. Her thirst was growing now for she had yet to drink in the short months she had been a Vampire. She knew she would die, but...the cravings were getting so bad, she almost killed her only friend the other night.

Finn was jerked back into reality by a light touch on his arm. He opened his eyes to see a small, fair-haired child holding out a daisy to him. Her pale cheeks were red from childish embarresment. She dropped the flower into Finn's lap and then ran back to the safety of her mother. The golden-eyed lad picked up the daisy, twining it around his white forefinger. "Well, I suppose you'd know about tired, hmm?" He asked quietly, a smile returning to his face as he stroked the flower's pale petals.

Christina snapped from her daze and gave an odd look. ''Sorry...what did you say?'' She asked fidgeting with one of the ribbon ends to her corset top.

Finn winked at her, lacing the flower's step throuh one of the empty button-holes in his white shirt. "Oh, nothing worth hearing." He gave a small frown. "Are you...feeling okay?"

The Vampire girl shrugged lightly. ''Umm...yeah....well....truthfully....um..not,really...''She said swallowing the thirst rising in her throat.

Finn frowned, resting his hands on his knees. "Oh? Is it anything I can help you with?" He asked, his big golden eyes wide and unnaturally innocent, as if Finn had never seen a single bad deed commited, heard a single foul word in all his years of life.
