Thea rested a trembling hand on Dimitri's knee. "That is only to be expected. Thank you, so much, for telling me." She said, looking up into his eyes.
Julian grumbled something about, "Needing to talk to someone" and left the room an instant later, silently and suddenly.

Dimitri gave a short nod and sighed.
Nicole abruptly got up and left the kitchen through thw wine cellar, no doubt to go to the underground shooting range.
''This is horrid...''Dimitri muttered looking over atr Thea.

Thea nodded solemnly again, then whispired. "Yes, yes I know..."

Julian barreled into an empty bedroom, slamming the door closed behind her with her booted foot. "Meier," She said, begining to pace. "I need to talk to you..."

Dimitri sighed again and rested his head on his forarms whih were crossed over eachother and on the kitchen tasble making a sort of rectangle.

A moment after his name left her mouth, Meier was sitting on the couch. ''Yes,darling?'' He asked raising an eyebrow in her direction.

Julian sighed. "How far are you on the search for the cure? Have you found a wiling participant yet?" She asked, looking very stressed indeed.

Aubrey, who had been silently nibbling on a cookie, said. "I'll do it."
Thea looked at him. "Er...do what?"

Meier shook his head solemnly. ''No, but I have finished off the tests, and I have made this....rather painful, but if it works on my test subject, it will be worth it, series of shots.'' He said shrugging slightly.

Dimitri looked up with a raised eyebrow, not speaking, but silently asking the same question as Thjea.

Aubrey smirked, but it looked a mite forced. "Well, make some more cookies of course." He said quickly. His red-haired friend sighed and reached for another cookie to throw at him, but found they ad all been eaten up. "Hmm...maybe you should...then I can throw them at your swelled head."

Julian itched to but a hand on his shoulder, but instead nodded. "I see...well, what would you say if I had found you what I believed to be a willing test subject?" She asked quietly.

Dimitri rolled his eyes slightly and before coughing he rested his head back on his arms. ''I feel sick.'' He muttered quietlly.

Meier looked up at her. ''Who would that be?'' He asked. Just by the expression on his face, one could tell that the wheels had begun turning in his head.

Julian cleared her throat. "A young vampire by the name of Aubrey Cinead. He is listening to us right now, and I know that one of the reasons he came back home is to help with the cure."

Downstairs, Aubrey nodded for no apparent reason, but Thea wasn't paying attention to him.
"Love, you are sick." The woman said, rubbing her husband's shoulder.

Dimiti sighed and coughed once more. ''I know...I was just...ugh...I cant remember the word, but something about...obvious.'' he said nodding. His brain had officially turned to mush.

Thea smiled and kissed his cheek. "If you're feeling ill, why not lay down?" She asked, putting her hands on her knees and blinking up at Dimitri.
Aubrey sat up in his chair, his dark blue eyes boring a hole in the celing.

Julian nodded. "Of course he is. He...he has his brother's desire to help people." She said, her voice cracking slightly but holding.

Dimitri sighed. ''Love...somehow, I have a feeling simply lying down isnt going to help anything thats wrong with me.'' He said looking back at her, only he didnt blink. He had an odd habit of not blinking when looking at people.

Meier nodded. ''Well...Ill have to talk to him and inform him about what he is getting himself into.'' He said looking at the door.

Aubrey smirked, baring his long, pointed teeth. "Oh, I know..." He muttered, but his handsome face had a very washed-out look to it.
Thea sighed and shruuged. "I know...but, perhaps, if you did, you'd feel a but better, if only a tiny bit..." She said, and nibbled her bottom lip.

Julian nodded curtly, then her eyes fell shut. "If...if you do decide to use him, could you promise me he will not die?" She said, her normally cocky voice tiny.

Dimitri sighed and shook his head. The fear of never waking up was keeping him from sleep for the moment. ''No, Id rather not.'' he said softly lifting his head up.

Meier sighed heavily. ''That may not be a promise I can keep. I have no way of telling what will happen when he consumes the antidote I made. I can, however, try and bring him back much the same way I did to you.'' He said rubbing his eye patch sub-consciously from just talking about what his eye could do.

Thea sighed, frowning. "I see...very well, then..."

Julian nodded. "Wonderful...he is Jack's brother, you know...and I have some certain ties with him myself." She said, then sat down in her favorite chair.
