Thea nodded, her eyes unreadable as she brought her famous switchblade from her pocket. It would be little protection against a grenade.
"Have any weapons? Or do you plan to use your bare hands?" She asked, opening the knife with a click.

From outside, a rumbling began, building and building in volume as Thea's temper rose. It beat at the shutters of the windows, even ripping some of them clear off their hinges.

Thea raised her eyebrows inquringly, but decided to ask later, when she was certain Riki wouldn't attack her."He...he accidently fell asleep in the sun...his skin is burned somewhat...but it's not life-threating. He'll lve, if he stays where he is and rests. How did you know he was in danger?"
The wind lessened it's hammering on the walls of the house, settling to merely occasional taps.

Riki turned around and looked at Thea.
"Wind Child- A child born to human parents with a knack for controlling the wind. May not realize it untill 13 or older, possibly younger. The wind relates to feelings- i.e. sad, it's slow and mournful, happy, it's gentle and fresh, angry, it can be huge depending on mood. The wind expresses it's ways only to the wind children. Only one wind child is born every millenium. It was a rumor that one was alive. I didn't beleive it untill I met you." Riki smiled at the dictionary in her mind.
"You can also have other powers, it all depends onw hat or who you are."

Thea nodded."No more questions, then..except...how do you know this, when even Dimitri had no clue?" Her hazel eyes were bright...she was not apprehinsive in the least, it seemed...just a girl asking for more knowledge.
