Julian looked at him, her lips pursed. "Don't I know it." She said. "But any lame-brain can see that something is wrong with you, the don't have to be special like me."

Dimitri sighed. ''Yes..I know..'' He said walking past her. ''Grief comes differently from us all...and some of us..it always seems to haunt.'' He said as he began to walk again. He needed to call someone.

Julian nodded. "I know about grief, Dimitri." She said. "And now, I have to go get Jack some brandy...he needs his sleep." She said, and walked off in the oppisite direction.

Dimitri rolled his eyes and made his way to a small office room. It was a peaceful enough room. He picked up the phone and dialed a few numbers in.
He listened until the phone picked up.
''Hello...?'' A groggy voice that was Lauri's. ''Lauri...'' He said his voice sad. ''Dimitri, whats wrong?'' His friend asked. ''Its...Jaqcues..Hes gone Laur..'' He whispered. Lauri dropped the phone on the other end. As he came to his senses he picked it up. ''Bring the boys over tomorrow...they need to see the grave...'' He said before hanging up.
Lauri sat in stunned silence. He got out of his bed and stumbled to the balcony. He looked out over Chathon. It looked so peaceful, but to know Jaqcues was gone...It sent the image whirling.

Instead of going to the cellar to get brandy as she had told DImitri she was doing, Julian walked out of the house. Within moments she was at Jacques' grave.
The guardian sat down on the southern end, and rested her head on her hands. "Going to talk to me Jacques?" She asked quietly.

Dimitri rested his head against the desk. He sighed and closed his eyes.

The wind around Julian picked up and whistled softly as it blew the flowers where Jaqcues' body was buried. Snow swirled around but settled before it touched the woman.

Julian smiled grimly. "Aah. So you are. I suppose you have been watching?" She said, drawing patterns in the snow with her fingertip.

In the snow slowly letters appeared.

Julian nodded solemly, placing her hands in her lap. "And so you have seen the anquish that your death has caused?" She said, snow making her black hair white like that of an old woman's.

Again letters showed up in the snow.
Y-E-S . S-O-R-R-Y
Wind blew a little again making snow cover some of the roses on Jaqcues' grave.

Julian shook her head. "It's not your fault, dear. I just don't like seeing DImitri and Thea so...well, you know. And so, I've come to you with a proposition."

Jaqcues, who was sitting around with a few other Vampire spirits sighed. She didnt understand he was trying to come back. He had been speaking with the Princes past about him going back.

Julian raised her eyesbrows. "Doubtless it will be diffcult to convince your superiors to let you, but I'm willing to let you become one of my angels." She said calmly, brushing snowflakes off her legs.

Jaqcues sighed. ''Stupid..'' He said outloud. A girl sitting next ot him raised an eyebrow. ''Who?'' She asked. He silenced her with a finger.
N-O...D-O-N-T W-O-R-R-Y...I-L-L B-E B-A-C-K....S-O-O-N...O-N-C-E I S-P-E-A-K W-I-T-H H-E-C-T-O-R. He responded hoping the eldest Prince would allow a Vampire like himself to speak to him.

Julian raised her eyebrows. "Don't call me stupid, dear. I was merely trying to help." She said, before standing, brushing snow from herself, and walking out of the graveyard.
