Maris sipped her tap water calmly. "I don't need to be escorted out--I have legs, I will walk on my own. Will, come on." She said, standing gracefully. William took a last bite of his meal and took the girl's arm.
"Told you you'd get us in trouble."
"Shut up."

The guard didnt respond but followed behind the two as he was told to do.
Dimitri growled in his seat. ''Dimitrious?'' Lauri said bringing his friend back from his dream world. ''What?''
''Whats wrong?''
''Nothing,''
''Yes...I can tell, we have been friends for a long time.''
''So.''
''JUST TELL ME!''
''FINE!''
''FINE!''
The two just sat in akward silence after this. Lauri starring into Dimitri's eye s and Dimitri likewise.

Maris twitched, then stopped. "I said I would walk out on my own." She said quietly, not even turning around to face the guard. "There is no need to follow me--in fact I'd prefer it if you didn't."
William sighed. "Maris..." He began, but then he saw the anger in his Guardian's eyes, and his throat closed up momentarily.

The guard sighed. ''Mam, Im not asloud to do that. I have been given strict instructions and I am ging to follow them.'' He said standing behind the couple.
Dimitri sighed. ''Its another guardian.'' He said simply. He took a long drink of his wine. ''Oh.'' Lauri said nodding and taking a sip from his Long Islad ice tea.

Maris jerkily turned, her iries rapidly turning scarlet. "Go away, now!" She hissed, while Will tried to tug her away buy a sleeve.

The guard quickly pulled out two guns. One pointed at each of them. Five more guards quickly surrounded them along with an enraged Dimitri followed by Lauri. ''What the hell do you think your doing?'' He growled looking at Maris. ''I told you to leave.'' He said pushing through the guards. Lauri follwed his friend pulling his arm desperatly trying to pull him away.

Maris growled." I was leaving, but I don't take kindly to people who don't listen even after I say please. Oh--please leave me alone, or I'll lose my temper."
"Mar-is!" Will cried, and the girl turned to him.
"Will, go to the car. Wait for me there, and if I don't come out in ten minutes go home without me. Got it?"
"But--"
"Go!"
William frowned, grinding his teeth as even obyed Maris and walked out of the resturant.
"But your pea-shooters away, gentlemen. I don't aim to hurt anybody here." Maris said, gazing evenly at the guards' guns.

Every single guard instantly looked to Dimitri. The black haired man nodded slowly.
'' He was doing what he was told. Im sure you are aware that when you have a job, you are supposed to obey your employers orders, am I correct?'' He said. '' Now leave. Go.'' He said waving his hand. The guards next to the door moved to let her leave. Lauri sighed and lowered his head. Would Dimitri ever listen?

Maris stiffened, her silver eyes washed over with scarlet. "You think you can tell me what to do? No one except the Three order me about--and you're not one of them! Oh, wait till I tell Julian what a nusiance you are!" She growled, an edge of long, white tooth showing just under her top lip.

Maris glared at him. "No, I'm thinking she's abandon you. Leave you to die...you could and probably would, without her help." She retorted. "Though why anyone would want to protect you is beyond me."

Maris laughed, hard and loud. "Why don't you ask Julian herself? She'll be standing right behind you in...three seconds, two..."
"Good Evening, Dimitri." Julian said evenly."Terrorizing us poor Guardians again, eh?"
The black-haired girl had Dimitri's wine glass in her hand, which she sipped from as she stared at the vampire.

Dimitri growled and snapped his fingers. Everyone in the restaraunt except the five of them fell to the ground. ''I dont see that as a problem...considering she had to ruin my evening out with Lauri.''He said lookinbg to his friend.
His friend shook his head and the feathers in his hair moved slightly. ''Donbt get me into this Dimitrious.'' ''Oh your already in, waist deep.'' The Vampire stated.

Julian sighed. "Oh....If only a few knocks to the head could pound some sense into you, Dimitri, I'd be a happy girl. But they can't, so I suggest you calm down before I lose my temper as well. Hello, Maris, darling, how are you?"
