Karsten twitched. ''The Victors have arrived.'' He said un-happily. Out of all Vampires, it was the two brothers he despised the most. Simply because of Dimitri's attitude, and Jaqcues and Elizabeth's odd friendship. Not that he wanted to go be buddy buddy with her anyway.
Jaqcues laughed and chattered on to Elizabeth about a few random things. Dimitri sighed. ''Oh hello Oliver...Karsten, I dont see why you dont like us. Its not like I have done anything to you.
Karsten growled. ''Yes...this is called the Vampire Mountain for a reason. '' He said tapping his foot on the ground.
Silas nodded. ''They do dont they?'' He said to the girl with a smile.

Oliver grinned. "I think the mountain could use a bit of variety...and they have traveled all this way..." He said, nodding to Dimitri.
Lily's eye twitched. "Please?" She asked, though she immeaditly hated herself for doing so.
Thea bit her lip--she hadnt expected so much trouble would happen.
Maryjane simply giggled again. "He is going to let us stay, isn't he?" She asked.

Karsten growled and crossed his arms. He opened his mouth to say no again, but Elizabeth smacked him. ''Welcome to the Mountain everyone. Have fun!'' She said pushing the Princes out of their way. ''Go ahead...find a room for yourself then go wild.'' She said laughing as she held Karsten back from jumping onto Dimitri.
Dimitri laughed himself as he walked further into the hall. He stopped a moment to chat to a few Vampire's who came up to him. ''Hey Leston, how are you?'' A woman with long brown hair asked patting his shoulder. ''Good Jane, you?'' ''The same as always.'' She said before walking on with the man she was with.
Jaqcues laughed and stayed with Elizabeth. ''You know, it never gets old watching you beat on the Princes.'' He said. Elizabeth shrugged, she now had Karsten in a headlock. ''Well, you know...keep them in line.'' She said. Karsten grumbled and broke free. ''One of these days.'' He said patting himself off and running a hand through his hair. ''Fine, let them stay. If something happens, you know who gets blamed first.'' He said looking at them all.
Silas nodded. ''Oh yes...somehow I dont think Elizabeth would go for that..'' He said as he followed after Dimitri.

Thea smiled in thanks to Elizabeth then walked after Dimitri. She stood next to him, her hands in her pockets. "This is..somewhat nicer than I expected." She said, grinnng.
Maryjane let go of Silas and stood on the floor. "Well, let's go find rooms for ourselves..." She said, clapping her tiny hands together.
Lily took a deep breath, deciding she couldn't keep her hood on forever. She reached up and tugged off her hood. her shining blonde hair spilled across her shoulders, and her now green eyes looked over to Vampires in the hall.
Oliver paled swiftly, and dropped the goblet he had been holding. Red liquid spread across the floor, puddling around Lily's shoes.
"It's her!" Several vampires whispered. "The traitor Maya!"
"Don't be silly," Others said. "Maya didn't have green eyes, nor those tiny feet."

Dimitri looked up from his conversation with some Vampires in time to hear Karsten yell his name and clench his fists.
Karsten growled and studied Lily. ''No, its not Maya....but her daughter no doubt.'' He growled to the Vampires around them.
Elizabeth dropped her arms to her sides. She didnt move to stop Karsten or anything. She simply starred. ''Jaqcues....your....traveling with....a traitor...'' She said looking to him. Jaqcues stood next to Lily. ''No, Im not. Because Lily is her own person, she shouldnt have to suffer for her parents mistakes. She has nothing to do with them and she has lived with us for some time. She isnt a traitor. She wouldnt do something like that to our race.'' The rather young Vampire stated.
Silas nodded to Maryjane. He wanted to get her out of there before anything else happened. He took her hand and walked off down a hall with her. He had no idea where he was going, but he had a hunch they would find the rooms.

Lily gave a graceful bow to the entire room, then turned to Karsten. Her green eyes shimmered with defiance. "Aye, I'm Maya's kin." she said. "But you must believe me when I say I have no intrest in following her path."
Oliver was still speechless, his mouth open in shock and his fangs clearly visible. Amarie put her hand on his shoulder and looked levely at Lily.
Thea bit her lip. "Should we...intervene?" She asked Dimitri.

Maryjane looked around, her lavander eyes wide." This place is huge!"

Dimitri shook his head. ''Jaqcues can handle it..'' He said watching in silence.
Jaqcues nodded. ''See...and you have our word that she wont be alone while in the Mountain. One of us will be with ehr if it makes you feel better.'' He said looking at both of the Princes.
Karsten's eyes where flickering with pure hate. ''I dont think so. Do you know at all what your asking?'' He said glarring at Jaqcues. The winged boy growled. ''She isnt going to betray us. Open yourself a little Karsten.'' They younger boy said his rings pulsing.
Vampires gasped at this. From the sting in the boys words, and his eyes, all directed to their prince.
Karsten glarred. ''If I see her wandering without one of you fools I will kill her without question.'' He said crossing his arms.
Elizabeth stood mouth open, she was still to shocked to do anything.

Silas nodded. ''That it is...'' He said looking around. He opened a door and found a coffin and nothing else. ''I think this is a room.'' He said walking in. ''Hmm..shall we fix the bed problem?'' He asked her.

Lily's anger heated up--what did she ever do to deserve this? "I doubt you could, sir." She said quietly, struggling to keep her temper in check.
Thea chewed on her lip now, nervous and worried beyond belief.
Oliver righted himself, closing his mouth and standing up straight. "Oh? And what harm could a tiny human girl do to a Vampire Prince?" He asked.
Amarie paled, as if she already knew the answer.

Maryjane nodded. "Silas, why is Lily afraid of the Vampires? She was trying to hide under her hood." She asked timidly.

Karsten was struggling not to choke the life out of her right then. ''Oh.So.You.Think.You.Stand.A.Chance.Against.Me?'' He said his teeth clenched together as he talked.
Jaqcues stood in front of Lily. ''Karsten, Oliver. You will not touch her while she is in the company of one of us.'' He hissed his red eye glowing as well as his golden one.
Karsten laughed. ''Who do you think you have become,Jaqcues? Just because you die and get blessed means nothing.'' He said starring at the young boy.
Elizabeth continued to stare blankly. Her legs and arms wouldnt function, it felt like she was being held by invisible hands.
Dimitri shook his head. ''Shut up Lily...just take it...'' He muttered to himself.

Silas snapped his fingers. A small one person bed appeared in place of the coffin for Maryjane. He made a chair for himself. ''Well...her parents did something very bad to the Vampires. So she hid her face so they didnt mistake her, for her mother you see.'' He said patting her head gently as he sat down on the chair

Lily put a hand on Jacques' shoulder and gently pulled him out of the way. "I do," She said, far more calmly than was reasonable. "But I don't, however, see why you must mistrust me so. I have done nothing at all, and yet I have to suffer the hate of almost every vampire who sees my face."
Thea sighed, her hazel eyes wide in fear.

Maryjane nodded. "But why would they be so mean to her? She's nice, and I can't imagine her doing anything bad." She said, and sat down on her new bed, a confused look on her face.

Karsten growled and crossed his arms like a small child might have. He sighed and raised an eyebrow. ''Fine. Stay if you wish. But, have one of these fools with you if you wish to live.'' He said before turning around and walking from them and to Dimitri. ''Im coming to you first if she does something Victors.'' He said before walking out of the hall.
Jaqcues sighed in relief. That was one hurdle passed. ''Phew.'' He said. Elizabeth finaly moved. ''Why I oughta go and get him right this instant and then Ill--'' Jaqcues put a hand on her shoulder. ''Its okay Elizabeth. Its over.'' He said releasing her shoulder.
Dimitri grumbled and looked at Thea. ''Me first..listen to them..I swear if I would have chosen to be Prince I would have fought to outrule all his ideas.'' He said shaking his head.

Silas nodded. ''Well...its hard to forget when your friends are killed and the kin of those who lead them to that death come, you cant help but feel betrayed by them too.'' He said leaning back on the chair.

Lily watched him leave, her head held high and her green eyes narrowed. She turned and walked towards Thea and DImitri, her lips pursed.
Oliver's blue-gray eyes followed her, his face back to normal but his eyes still a mite horrified. "I thought she was dead, Amarie."
Amarie shook her head. "No. The General who lead the attack on Maya and Robert set her and her sister free. I wonder where the other girl is...perhaps she is dead as well."
Thea watched as the earth child stalked forward and took her hand, leading her away.
But not before she looked into Dimitri's eyes. Your Princes past were wrong. I will never love those who cannot accept me.
Thea waved goodbye as Lily led her out of sight.
....
Maryjane nodded again. "I see...I hope Lily won't get in trouble."

Karsten growled as he stormed down the halls. He shoved Vampires out of his way as he walked. He went back to his favorite palce, the garden. He didnt let on his liked it however. He went right to the bench he always sat at and took a sip from the glass of wine he had left there.

Dimitri lowered his head and shook it. The Princes Past had something up their sleeves, he just couldnt figure it out yet. ''Well...this was just great.'' He said to himself and shrugging.
Jaqcues let out a long sigh. He bowed to Oliver and walked off. Elizabeth followed after him. ''Jaqcues, are you ok?'' She asked looking up at him. He was taller than her now, and it felt weird looking up now.
Jaqcues nodded. ''Yea...Im fine...its just Karsten...I dont understand why he must be so...hateful towards everyone.'' He said anger flickering in his eyes.

Maryjane sighed too, though hers was lighter because of her smaller vocal cords. "She always seems so sad...I wish I could find something to cheer her up."

Lily and Thea walked down the hallway, quickly finding a suitable room. It had a coffin in it, but Lily ignored it and made two large yet comfortable vine hamocks. She slipped into one and put her head in her hands. "I don't know if I can take it, Thea." She whispered as the half-vampress sat beside her. "They hate me...I so wish they didn't."

Oliver sighed, before turning and retreating to his private parlor. Amarie bit her lip before returning to her meal.

Silas nodded. ''Well...Im sure you will. '' He said hoping that she might find something.

Dimitri sighed and sat down on a chair in the hall. ''Humph.'' He said as he sat. A Vampire sitting next to him raised an eyebrow. ''So, you've been left by everyone I see.'' He said. Dimitri growled. ''Shut up.''

Karsten sat quietlly looking at all the flowers. They always made him feel so peaceful. Especially when he was so mad. He rubbed his head and thought about the woman haunting his dreams. He stopepd thinking as he realized the haunting similarity of her and Lily. ''No..'' He whispered his eyes growing wide.

Jaqcues and Elizabeth walked together for a while. ''Well...Im going to go shower...It feels a little warmer today...so hopefully the waterfall isnt so cold.'' Liz said before patting Jaqcues and walking off. Jaqcues sighed and slipped into a room with two coffins. No one was in the room so he sat on a chair in a far corner.
