Oliver blinked, then sighed as two black-lace-clad arms looped around his neck and the top of Lily's blonde head appeared over his broad shoulder. "Hullo, Olie!"
The Prince smiled and patted his daughter on the head. "Hullo, chickadee. Where's Karsten?"
Maryjane nodded dumbly, nibbling on her bottom lip.

''Right here. You miss me Oliver?'' Came Karsten's deep voice on the left side of the group. He had a wine glass in his hand and he had patched up his wounds with the help of some ladies and needles. His shirt was half unbuttoned so he could actually move. With the amount of bandages, it was ahrd without any shirt. He had black pants on that he had gotten from a Vampire General.
Silas nodded. ''Hello there Sire.'' He said before turning his attention back down to Maryjane.
Verchin growled at the sight of arsten; He still didnt trust, or like, the Prince.

Oliver chuckled. "I always miss a chance to prove how reckless you are, my friend." He replied, then set his violin and bow on the floor, silently waiting for Lily's scream when she saw Maryjane.
He was not disappointed. Oliver's and every other vampire's eardrums in a ten-foot radius were almost shattered by the girl's massive roar and the thunk as she fell off her father's back and onto the floor. "M--Maryjane...what the freak happened?"
Maryjane blushed. "Er...something bad..."

Karsten chuckled and shrugged. As soon as he realized what had happened to Maryjane he ducked and covered his ears from Lily's screams.
Silas put a hand up and light washed over Lily. ''Shh...child. No need to be so harsh. Nothing that cannot be changed if Maryjane wants it to be. That is all we really need to explain. Im sure she is sick of everyone asking.'' He said looking at the girl.
Verchin moaned and tried to blickthe sound out. His hearing was about as sensitive as a Vampire's.

Oliver winced and rubbed his poor aching ears. "Grah...quite a set of lungs you've got there, chickadee..." He groaned.
Lily nodded, struck dumb. "Er...Umm..."
Maryjane looked around, her face a deep shade of crimson.

Karsten slowly returned to an upright possision. ''By the black blood of Harnon Oan, I thinkIve gone deaf.'' He said shaking his head making his soft curls fall infront of his eyes,
Silas smiled and looked at Lily. ''Dont worry...she is still the same cute little Maryjane we all love. She will just age from here and up, living just as long as if she had looked the same as she had a while ago. So nothing to worry about.'' He said hoping her was right.
Verchin squinted and looked up at Lily. His ears were laid back against his head in fright she would start shrieking again.

Oliver himself had indeed gone temporairly deaf, having got a full blast of Lily's scream. He looked at Karsten, and shook his head. When he spoke, he was shouting, most likely because he could not hear what he was saying. "LUCKY!"
Maryjane rubbed Verchin's head and nodded, silently concuring Silas' words.
Lily swallowed. "I see...and you say she does not want to reverse this?"

Karsten sighed and shrugged. ''WHAT ABOUT CHICKENS?'' He replied trying to make sense of things.
Silas sighed. ''Thats what she says...you might want to make sure your ftaher and boyfriend ar okay. I think us three will be on our way. I happen to know where to get ome icecream.'' He said nodding.

Maryjane giggled. "Oh, I'd forgotten about the ice cream....yes, can we go get some?" She asked excitedly.
Oliver continued to blink at him. "MY MOTHER'S NAME WAS NOT ZSA ZSA, I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE YOU GOT THAT FROM!" He hollered back.
Lily sighed and clamped a hand over her father's mouth, then turned to Karsten and placed a finger to her lips.

Silas smiled and nodded. ''We will see all of you later.'' He said waving to them. He ushered Maryjane in the direction of his room. He had set everything up earlier. He had made a table,chairs and bowls and things for the icecream they would eat.
Verchin licked his lips with a wet pik tongue. Yummy.. He murmered thinking about the ice cream
Karsten sighed and bowed his head. Fine then, your stuck with me talking in your head...I think Im never going to hear right again... He muttered rather bitterly, it was only normal for the Prince though.

Lily roleld her eyes, but strangely enough she was smiling. You just wait...I learned a new healing trick today. Come here... She replied jovially.
Oliver turned around, and hollered. "AMARIE, COME HERE, PLEASE!"
The vampiress seemed to be remarkably untouched by Lily's scream and gracefully swept over to Oliver. "Hmm...?"
Maryjane had to force herself to not start drooling. "Mmm...yummy indeed..." She whispered.

Karsten took a step towards her and stood directly infront of her. Alright, show me. He replied with a smile.
Silas chuckled. ''You two are so funny'' he said blinking. Verchin even laughed. Yep, thats us!

Oliver handed Amarie his bow and violin. "TAKE THESE TO MY STUDY, PLEASE!" He hollered, and his brunette friend immeaditly obyed.
Lily smiled, stepping forward and pecking Karsten once on each ear. The damaged eardrums healed in a trice, leaving only a faint tickling sensation behind.

Oliver had been old enough to learn what people were saying just by watching their lips, and so partly understood what Karsten was saying. "OH, HEY, NOW...WATCH WHAT YOUR SAYING AROUND YOUR GIRLFRIEND'S FATHER, YOU!" He hollered, and a blushing Lily moved over to the Bookworm Prince and kissed his ears as well.
