Silas walked around a little bit before he found footprints in the dirt. He began following them keeping his steps light an airy on the gorund so as not to be detected.

Maryjane put Verchin down, a broad smile on her face. She watched the plants above her sway in a sudden, rare gust of wind.

Silas nodded. ''Okay, count to fifty if you can.'' He said before walking off. Verchin barked and began pulling Maryjane by her pant leg towards the bench so they could count.

Silas chuckled to himself and hid back behind some large rose bushes. He made a stool appear and he sat down to wait for Maryjane and Verchin to find him. Verchin wagged his tail and laid down covering his eyes with his paws listening to Maryjane's counting.

Maryjane took one step after Verchin, but the sound of a familar voice behind her stopped the girl from pursing the pup further. "Maryjane...why don't you come sit with me, honey?" The voice belonged to Thea, who sat on a nearby stone bench, her long red hair falling free to her shoulders, and her hazel eyes glinting. The little girl blinked but obeyed. It was only after she caught sight of Thea's left hand, which was clasping her other one in her lap neatly. "Thea..." Maryjane asked, confused. "Where's your wedding ring?"

Verchin reared and turned around after Maryjane stopped following him. Forgetting the game of hide and seek he ran and skidded to a stop. He growled at 'Thea' and his tail went down slightly.
