Maryjane giggled too. Until, of course, a drunken vampire bumped into her, accidently pouring about two quarts of mead over her head. The girl gave strange keening sound and wipped the stuff from her eyes.
Thea gasped, leaving Dimitri to rush over to the distressed girl. "Oh, honey..." She cooed sympathetically, rubbing Maryjane's wet cheeks dry with her sleeve.

Verchin growled and snapped at the leg of the Vampire who had spilled his drink on Maryjane, but he had missed when the man stumbled.
Dimitri dug in his pocket a moment and produced a black hankerchief with a silver heartagram on it. It was neatly folded. ''Here, I dont ever use these anyway.'' He said handing it to Thea to wipe off Maryjane a little more.

Maryjane pouted as Thea took the handkercheif and gently wipped the rest of the mead from the child's face. "That's about the best I can do...you'll have to wash your hair, though...and isn't Silas supposed to be taking care of you?"
Maryjane bit her lip, not wanting to get Silas in trouble by saying the wrong thing. "Well...um...I have Verchin to protect me..."

Verchin nodded and sat up straight puffing himself up. Yep, Im a good guard wolf. He said giving a wolfish grin.
Dimitri nodded slowly. ''I havent seen Silas since...the Korvin insadent[sp]'' He said thinking of where he had been.

Maryjane sighed, reaching down to scratch Verchin behind the ears. "Yes, you are...I went to the waterfall place with Verchin a while ago...the waters so cold there...I don't really want to get in it."
Thea shrugged. "Well, who knows what he's doing? I certainly dont..."

Verchin looked up at Silas with wide eyes, he carried the scent of...possibly...Vampaneze...he couldnt quite tell from stad=ndin next to Maryjane, the mead spilled on her was fogging his senses.
Dimitri whirled around to look at Silas. ''Huh. Is it, you know, lkook what happed to poor Maryjane because you have thrown her aside like an old t-shirt.'' He said pointing to the still rather soggy child.

Thea rolled her eyes. "Hey, it's true. You have a commitment...and Maryjane needed you when you weren't here."

Silas sighed and shrugged. ''Well, I have a life to regardless of what I am. But Im here now and shes damp, not like she had her arms cut from her.'' He said sighing and snapping his fingers. Maryjane was now nice and dsry and smelled like flowers.
Verchin growled at this for it spooked him when he felt a rush of hair and flash of light.

Maryjane thought quickly. "Well, I know...oh, I'm sorry, Silas!" She said, before rushing over to and hugging the man's waist.
Thea rolled her eyes again. "It's not you who should be sorry, honey..." She grumbled.

Dimitri sighed and shook his head. ''Oh Princes Past save my sanity...'' He muttered rubbing his right temple.

Dimitri nodded to Thea. ''I think they have it handled...Now, to the partying!'' He said winking and picking Thea up and walking towards the Khurden Lurt.
Silas smiled. ''Well, we can have fun of our own somewhere else...how about hide and go seek...we can play in the ardens.'' He said nodding looking down at her.
Verchin blinked. Whats that? I havent ever heard of...hide...seek... He said trying to think.

Thea giggled like a girl half her age and hugged Dimitri's arm.
That was precisely when Oliver came hurtling down the corridor. Clenched in one pale hand was a violin and bow. His face was covered in red lip-prints and he looked absoluely terrified. "Argh!" he said, stopping next to Dimitri and Thea. "I've been ambushed by some rather amourous vampiresses!"

Oliver pointed behind him the his violin bow, still pale-faced in anxiety. Soon, enough, three vampiresses rounded the corner.
"Olie," One was saying as she applied a fresh coat of lipstick. "Olie, come here! We only want to talk with you!"
"Yeah," Said another, batting her eyelashes at the prince. "Just talk."
Oliver shivered.
