Meier nodded. ''I promise I wont hurt you.'' He replied quietlly. The eye behind his black eye patch was swirling around with color now, slowly going clockwise. He was glad Julian couldt see this for his mood was easily readable from that eye.

Julian withdrew her head from it's place so close to Meier's, crossed her legs, and watched the Noble out of the corner of her eyes. Quietly, she began to hum a tune her mother had sung to Corey when he was an infant.

Meier sat silently, listening intently to Julian. He eye was focused on his wolf, so as not to make her nervous by looking at her. Hid lips had a smile playing on them, begging him to smile widely.

Julian soon closed her eyes, leaning backwards into the chair. She continued to hum softly, her hands clasped in her lap.

Meier listened happily to Julian. He longed to hear he sing and just let everything go, but her being mauled just to sing for him was not something he wanted her doing. No matter how good it would sound.

Julian eventually came to the end of the song, and drew her legs up onto the armrest with her, settling her head on her knees. Her eyes were still closed as she paitently waited for Meier to do something.

Meier sighed with a happiness he hadnt felt in years. ''Thank you.'' He murmered softly looking up at the woman on the arm rest next to him, so close, yet so far away.

Julian snorted in her usual sardonic way. "Huh. You're very welcome darling." She said, her general sour mood returning, as it always did when she reminded herself that she was forbiden to sing.

Meier sighed inwardly. He would have to find a way to get Lucifer to let Julian sing once more..and possibly get Lucifer to leave her alone completly...but that was a stretch.

Julian turned to face Meier, her ebony tresses falling in front of one eye. "I hate to ask, but my stomach is screaming for sustenance. D'you have any normal food, perhaps?" She asked, one corner of her mouth turned up in a smile.

Meier nodded. ''Of course, if you want to you can come and find something in my kitchen.'' He said blinknig and looking up at her.

Julian nodded curtly and graceful got to her feet, pulling down the hem of the skirt out of pure habit. "Sure. Lead on, my friend."

Meier nodded and stood up slowly cracking his back as he went. He nodded to the door and walked out. He walked slowly so she could keep up, he usualy walked fast and sharp but for her he slowed. He turned down the hallway and into a grand kitchen set in deep colors of tans and whites. Sophie's doing again, along with all the cooking appliances and such in the area. If it were Meier's choice he would have one set of dishes and silver wear. ''here we are..just make yourself at home and if you see something good, eat it.'' He said sitting on a wooden chair.

Julian grinned and stalked into the room.
"Thankees." She patted Meier's cheek lightly, then went to the fridge and opened it, looking for something appetizing. She grabbed a tray of brownies that had been sitting there and began to eat them hungerily.

Meier smiled and nodded slowly. He looked out the window in the kitchen. Nothing but a dark void was outside it. Just like he had said, he lived in a place like space.
