Vivian raised her hands in a more graceful shrug than Nicky's, and pursed her lips slightly. "Sure. As you said: 'I have nothing better to do'." She replied.

Nicky reached up and undid the ponytail she had and took off the jacket she had on. Underneath, she had a tight fitting top that clearly showed she was a woman. Her hair fell to her shoulders and she shook his out. She blinked a few times and her eyes changed color, from green to a soft blue. ''Here I am.'' She said striking a pose.

Vivian gave Nicky a decidely cat-like smile. "From one woman to another: You are quite lovely. Why did you ever decide to dress like a man?" She asked, raising her eyebrows again.

Nicky sighed. ''Its a long story...but if your willing to listen, I can tell you I guess.'' She said slipping her jacket back on. Her shirt was rather cool to be out in the winter snow without a jacket. She did leave her hair down however.

Nicky nodded and sat down where she had cleared away snow so she could shoot properly. ''Well...I grew uo with my Father and two brothers...but my father died..and my brothers went away to war. The never came back...and so, to coup with my loss, I turned to the only other thing I knew about. It was men, so I decided to become one. I have gone for the last few years as a man, and Im a war veteran myself. I was a general.'' She said proudly. ''That was a very long story short.'' She said laughnig.

Vivian gave a small giggled as well, her hands in her lap. "Well, your story seems to be quite a bit more interesting than mine, in all accounts." She replied, smiling that same cat-like smile.

Nicky smiled, she hadnt been so happy in a long time. ''Yeah...its kinda sad actually....I never knew what happened to my mother...my father and brothers would never tell me..so I assumed she died..'' She said shrugging and taking one of her guns from its holster and looking it over with a sparkle in her eye.

Vivian hissed when she saw the gun and dashed behind a shrub, turning back into a cat on the way. Put that away, please! She cried, real fear in her voice.

Nicky slipped it away. ''Okay! Im sorry...I didnt know guns frightened you! I would never try to hurt you...'' She said somewhat hurt, yet understanding was in her voice, not everyone had grown up around guns like she had.

Vivian relaxed slightly and emerged from the bush. She didn't bother changing back to her human form, just looked at Nicky with her slited blue eyes. It is alright. You truly had no way of knowing. She said.

Vivian winced slightly. My father is a very rich man. People have been known to try to caputure me for ransom money, and just two and a half years ago my best friend Carlie was...shot and killed by a sniper bullet. She replied, settling down on the ground with her paws tucked under her.

Vivian nodded. I am aware of that. I'm just always a bit jumpy around guns. Speaking of friends, the reason I'm out tonight is because I'm looking for a lost friend of mine.
